Course Curriculum Overview
So in my class 12 I was basically preparing for JEE mains and after the result with with which I was not able to apply for B.Tech but this BCA course which is quite similar to BTech CSE so I choose this course and in this college the course is regularly updated that is the syllabus is updated with the current required skills that are necessary for today's job role so as per the course it is very helpful in today's world and it health is student to learn different aspects of a computer in a single course.
Internships Opportunities
So I am currently not sure in which year the internship start but I have heard from my senior that there are companies which come to higher intern from our colleges and I am not sure about the job rule but it teaches a lot about the office life
Placement Experience
So Placement in IEM is very well as it is the third best college in West Bengal and and the placement in this college is near about 90 to 95% of the students get placed in good companies . So the placement in my course basic starts near about when we are in 4th semester Or 5th semester . The companies which came for placement this year was Amazon, Adani ,TCS, Wipro , Infosys etc
Fees and Financial Aid
So I took admission in 2024 and in that time the fees was near about 3.61 lakh and we have to start start by which I mean the admission fees was near about ?70k to ?80k. For scholarship you have to talk or you can take scholarship suggest Government scholarship retire given to BCA student.
Campus Life
As I started my college journey in this year itself so up till now my college journey was quite good as this was the first time travelled from my hometown to the college and and my experience was quite good as I took part in many events many Webinar nd many other cultural activities which made my campus life till now the best.
Admission
So as per my admission process I went to the admission centre of the college where the admission is taking place where I was asked about my class 10 and 12 marks and I have to give a entrance exam for this course so after giving the entrance exam I was eligible to study BCA in this college and after that my application from home was accepted and after that I have to pay the admission fees which was near about 60k and I didn't take any reservation benefit I got admission directly and speaking about the examination timing the examination study the subject in detail and give the best in the exam
Faculty
So in my college the faculty member are very helpful as they are always there to help the students if they face any difficulty in college . The faculty members are always there to explain our doubts , we can go to then anytime after our classes are over and they are always there to me the students if he/she didn't understand a topic because every time I face a problem in a topic , I go to them to understand it . The faculty to student ratio 1:16 which is really good !
