- Chitkara provides you hostel inside campus. There are multiple hostels and the good part maintenance of all the hostels are very good.
- They conduct Hackathons, competitions and all on regular basis. Many renowned personality comes here to share their experience with us.
- They provide you different platforms to learn from for example : coursera, coding ninja and many more and that for absolutely free.
Dislikes
- I think chitkara lags in sports like they have fully facility of each and every sport what they dont have is proper trainers.
- They lag teaching practical skills to students. Trainers teach very well but professors are worse. Beacause they keep on reading stuff in ppt
Course Curriculum Overview
The Chitkara course is designed beautifully. Each and every semester is based on your next semester. All the extra subjects are covered by Coursera. Subjects which are important for you will be taught and that too step by step.
Internships Opportunities
After 3rd year you are free to participate in external internships. Free internships are provided over here. Companies are listed in Chitkara's official ID. DSA projects, AI projects and the rest depending on your field and interest. Whichever company suits your interest will select you. Believe in yourself and master one skill. And definitely, you will be selected.
Placement Experience
Chitkara provides you with on-campus placements. Different companies come here to take students like wipro, Infosys and all. Almost 80% of students get placements and the rest get placed but a bit late. And every student at least gets an average salary of chitkara.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee is different according to the course you purchase and it is fixed throughout the semesters but hostel fees kept on increasing I think Chitkara has very Affordable fees in comparison with other universities. Rest it can totally depend on each individual. They even accept external scholarships. But I dont think so they themselves provide scholarships.
Campus Life
Here clubs are just formality. Club heads will always give priority to students with whom they have for a long time. Sometimes they won't even select you. So it is just a waste of time. Rest its luck if you have mind-blowing skills then maybe they would select you else I won't suggest it. Infrastructure is one hundred and ten per cent good. There is no doubt about it.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Like they keep maintaining it time to time and also they take students complaijt very seriously. Mess food and laundry services are provided within and they are also very good. I had no issue with any of the thing with hostel. There is no security issue. Everything is fantastic
Admission
Chitkara wants 65% plus. Thats it. All the details of admission are on their official id of Chitkara. We have to fill paid registration form to book a seat then they will contact you for further process.
Faculty
Their is no restriction to contact to the teachers. You can anytime visit dean for any issue. They are always available. Infact trainers are always there for your help. Few professors keep interacting with you to solve your doubts. Infact they motovates you and keep telling you the things that are currently very important to be industry ready.
