Remarks

Overall the Ramaiah College of Law is a very good college to study in and it provides very good exposure to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is more or less the same as any other college that provides students with the BA.LLB course. There are two semesters in a year wherein a student has to give 20 marks for internal which bilocated in three parts i.e. 5 marks assignment, 5 marks presentation, and 10 marks unit test. The rest 80 marks are supposed to be given later in the semester examination.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provides internship to every student who lives in or out of Bangalore in the places where they belong to. The college also has a good placement record.

College Events

5

The college celebrates most of the occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. But the most important event is the Kannada Rajyotsava which is also known as Karnataka Day. This is also the official Traditional Day of the college wherein students wear their traditional outfits and celebrate the event together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual college fee is 1,40,000. This includes the prescribed books, the college uniforms i.e. 3 white shirts, black trousers, khadi kurta, pajamas, and a black college blazer. No library fees are supposed to be paid. Everything in the college (except for the canteen) is free of cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not take any type of educational loan and neither did I get any scholarship on behalf of the college.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is very peaceful. There is a 60-40 gender ratio in favor of girls. Students from all parts of the country come here to study. The college even has a few international students in the college. A lot of societies like the Debate Society, Moot Court Society, Legal aid cell is there in the college which is open to all the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students of the college are very friendly and they help the first years to familiarize with the place and also help them in the studies.

Admission

Gave an entrance examination, which was conducted by the college itself and after you pass that entrance examination, you will have to go through a personal interview round wherein you will have to answer questions related to your scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is well qualified and the faculty is divided into various branches of subjects as per their specialty. The teachers are very friendly and pay personal attention to each and every student the class and they also make sure that each student is completing their work and are whether they are following up or not.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
