Integrated MCA, Utkal University. Worth it.

I choosed integrated MCA course because it's a dual degree course. I will be able to finish my bachelor's andy master's in one go without applying for another college. The only concern is student placements. It can be improved by efforts of the department executives. There are exams in each semesters and there are mid-sem exams as well.

I pay 50000 rs. per year for this course. The tution fees will be around 2000 per month. As it's a government University, it has a lot of scholarship for the students. Students of SC ST and OBC are provided with scholarships. There is no placement in University but there are many off campus oppertunity through this course.

There are various fests in the university organised by different deartments. There are tech fests as well as fun competitions and sports events. There is a large collection of books in library for the students. The classrooms are large enough and comfortable. There is a big ground for various sports and there is also a badminton court.

The eligibility is to secure above 60% in 12th science stream. The application form will be available on the College website. The dates will be published on newspapers and other platforms. The application fee is 600 rupees. Then there will be an entrance exam for all the students and out of all, 60 students will be shortlisted for the course.

There are 60 students in our batch and we have 7 regular faculty and 2-3 guest faculties per semister. So the faculty to student ratio is good enough. The faculty are highly educated and have their unique style of teaching. The teachers encourage us to have talk with them about our doubts in class and on phone as well. So we have a pretty rich interaction with the teachers
