Our university is one of the best

Well, I was always fascinated by the history and therefore I chose this subject. The curriculum has economics as a subject too and therefore even though history is our main elective we get to study civics and economics at the same time.

From th final semester students becom eligible and many government companies come for placements as many state units are considering hiring the workforce from the state itself. Honestly placements are sparse but some lucky ones have been able to get placements through campus.

Since it's a government College the fees is peanuts. The total course fees will be around 25k and I don't think I could have asked for a better bargain than this. Even though the fees is so less if students come under any form of reservation or merit they get some special scholarships and some students are literally studying here for free.

Campus is beautiful as a five floor building which is equipped with multiple lifts and washroom for both men and women on each floor is so hygeinc. Students of BA are known as entertainers and therefore we are the ones who runs most of the clubs in the university. The drama club Tatva has been highly appreciated as they have given performance to die for.

One has to clear 12th from any stream be it arts, commerce or science. Nearly half the seats are under reservation but I am from general category so criteria for my admission was a little higher but still one can easily avail admissions here.

Faculties were many and Dr Rajendra himself was a dean at IIT Khargpur so he knew how to run a university better than anyone. He made sure that the best professors are hired. My course BA is not something which is a specialised course but our faculties made sure that we understand the importance of history and thereby made the subject matter very interesting to us.
