IIT MADRAS gives the platform to think independently but sometimes we may see some suicide cases in IIT MADRAS which make to feel pity but still, the cases are very less when compared to remaining colleges.

definitely, the curriculum of our college is well structured. The faculty and professors had done a great job to design the best curriculum with dividing time to classes and extras correctly. I am a dual degree student and the curriculum slightly changes from dual degree to B.tech.All courses are divided into 3 exams in a semester they are part 1 part 2 end semester. The weight of marks generally varies. Some class tests are also be conducted which carries a little weight and end sem carries the most. They give tutorials in which main models are covered for exams

Yes, our college provides the internship to students in the various fields ranging from non-technical stuff to technical. the stipend varies from the internships to internship so no one can clearly say how much is the general stipend and one can experience great things from internships there are NO WORRIES for placements and job opportunities in IITs because IITs are named for the placements .almostt all students get placed in campus selections and there is absolutely no need for most of the students to search for jobs. he packages for the jobs in our college is high when compared to all other colleges.

I think most of the engineering students know SAARANG which is the cultural fest of IIT MADRAS. many colleges across India participate in SAARNG. IIT MADRAS has almost 64 clubs for varies interests and many students participate as volunteers in the events which helps them to increase their circle. IIT MADRAS' technical fest is SAARANG which is famous among all the technical fests conducted across many colleges in INDIA

Frankly speaking, nowadays studies in IITs are expensive except for some classes like those who are having the reservation and there are fees concession for the students whose family annual income is less than 5 lakhs .general students have to spend around 3 lakhs per annum which is a bit expensive. But the main thing is how much you pay in IIT that won't be sufficient at all to run the campus govt. gives additional funding to meet expenses.

It has got excellent sports facilities for cricket, football, athletics, hockey, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, weightlifting, swimming etc. In the first year, some students are selected for each sport and they are trained well in that sport under the program NSO. Leaving it, beginner camps are organized, from time to time for enthusiastic students who want to learn the fundamental skills required for the game. Be it music, dance, photography, fashion, dramatics, movie-making, design, speaking arts, etc. , IIT CHENNAI has got clubs for each of these which are managed by students.

yes, the alumni network is an important segment in every college because they are the one who experienced the college before us and we will learn great things from them and IIT MADRAS provides good platform and sessions to connect students and alumni. By all means, college is ultimate and it provides the best education in whole India in engineering.

First of all, anyone, who wants to enter into world's prestigious IITs He should crack one of Asia's toughest and most competitive entrance exam i.e JEE ADVANCED. I cracked the exam with the best aggregate and that paved me into this college. (Every year the total marks for which exam is conducted changes.)
