An overview of NIET Greater Noida

The aspects of curriculum that made me choose this college is that the college offers a different variety of subjects to be taught like CAD which is computer aided designing and ABC which acquiring business communication and design thinking and foreign languages too. It is well planned to teach us to the world application like ABC teaches us the way to deal with fluent communication. The exams are held twice a amonth as sessional and every week as weekly tests .

The internship offered in the college are good as we have got an internship offer in our upcoming semester from Microsoft, apple , Wipro and many more which will allow us to do internship with these prestigious companies.

The students become eligible for campus placement from the starting of the 8th semester and the end of 7 th semester. The company that visit are mostly zscaler and some other but mostly zscaler visits the recent data of the placement is that 17 students have been placed in zscaler at the package of 26 lakh. And the average package is from 5 to 6 lakh . My plans after getting the degree is thati will sit for the campus placement driveand get a high paying job.

The tution fees of the college is pretty high as compared to the other colleges nearby but it is acceptable because they offer different certificates and different courses like MOOCS course and certificate from various platforms and doesn't charge and fees for it . There are also scholarship for students which are UP scholarship and National scholarship and a college scholarship for the girl who score above 9 cgpa in the semester.

There are not that much fest held in the college as they much focuses on the studies as the want there college name to be flourished in a very small period of time . This is the only thing I don't like about the college they does not even organize a single big fest in the college. There clubs which activitely make events which are small and there is also good library with different books .

The hostel is also good as compared to the other hostels and pgs and they offer AC rooms which are 3 seater and 4 seater . But they doesn't offer 2 seater rooms with AC but the meal quality is nice . Or we can say average. The hostel registration is done along with the addmission process and it works on the first come first allotment process . If I would have rented the room or PG I would have rented near the jagat farm or nearby the college.

The eligibility for the course which I have opted was the jee mains exams rank . And the cutoff was nice and many students also availed benefits of different reseversations and also the addmission process was not that good because at the time of physical reporting there was a chaos because of poor management.

The faculty to student ratio is good as there are only 69 students to be handled by a particular faculty in one section and it impacts in a way that the faculty remembers the name and score and capabilities of a particular student. The faculty is well educated and also are PhD holders and teaches in a professional way not only on boards but also use smart board to teach. The teachers interact with the students very often and also solves and explain the particular person the problem he is facing or had faced in solving the question.
