- Lesser students in my batch because people mostly pursue theis course from a government college.
- Not as such physical activities like sports and games.
- You have to stay on queue most of the time for elevator.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers vast expanse of Political information starting from the basic of Political Theory to Ideologises and other concepts. Anyone who want to sit on competitive exams like UPSC, State PSC the curriculum will cover your Political Science part. The area of improvement in the course can be inclusion of more practical workshops and discussion. The good thing is you will be tested after completion of each chapter and topic through class tests. Besides, unlike government colleges every semester occurs in time. And it is not like that because it is private college the exam paper and checking will be easy. After result the teacher gives suggestions to every students regarding their area of improvement.
Internships Opportunities
In our department there is no as such company linked for internship. Students mostly choose this discipline for government job exams. However there are initiatives by the college for mentorship and career guidance. I will not recommend you to expect any placement or internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
You will be notified about your fees at the very beginning of your admission. You can also access it from college website. No fees hike policy effects your pre-defined course fees. Apart from the fees you'll be asked as your course fees, there is no extra service fees or any compulsory charges throughout the course. I personally got 50% off on the tution fees as my marks was 92% in the 13th. One can get upto 100% off on tution fees if s/he gets more than 94%.
Campus Life
One of the fest was 'The Renaissance ' conducted by the Sociology Department. It was held in the montg of April. You can access any of the book of your choice from the college library. The classrooms are decent. There is no as such social groups run by the students. The social life in the college is average in my opinion.
Admission
There is no as such eligibility criteria for the admission in this course. You will be admitted just after a 5 mins. discussion. All exams are taken in proper time. Their difficulty is to the level that it will be enough to test your grasp in your field.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is more than good. It is like 1 faculty to 5 students. They not only provide bookish knowledge but practical knowledge too. Every topic is being related to real life examples for a better understanding. You can approach with teachers any time through online medium like WhatsApp. However the number of students are lesser in my batch compare to any other batches.
