Remarks
The college atmosphere is very good, more trees the more fresh air. Library and lab facilities are too good. Private canteens like fast food are the negative things in my college the pay is high and the food is not as expected and good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chemical engineering is different and the modern world is full of chemistry. The course covers about food, fluids, industries and how to design and control the equipment and to have knowledge about chemical reactions. In a year we have two semesters. One is a long and other is like 4 months semester. And they conduct our internal exams once a month, this will be also included in as an additional mark at the end of the semester.
Placement Experience
I'm doing my third year and have gone for an oil company nearby, it is a 10 days internship but it doesn't contain any stipend but I learned a lot like how oil is extracted from sunflower. But our seniors have gone for an electroplating company like a trainee and they are getting 10000 a month as stipend. Job opportunities are trustworthy. Many companies have visited our college this year and selected above 20 over 30 students. Companies like Wipro, HCL are visiting our college.T here are more IT companies which are not related to the core are also giving good job opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible for a normal middle-class family, it is about 50-60k per year for everything including a fee for examination and coaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college has partnered with a good bank and it is very helpful to take loans for studies and for projects. the scholarship is based on community and it is directly sent to our bank linked with our college. It can be done in a simple procedure.
Campus Life
We have a separate section for lab about 10 labs related to chemical engineering. They are neat and have all the safety equipment. We have our sports period once a week for about three hours. They even conduct sports day once a year including sports like cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, chess, carom board etc
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are very helpful, we even have a WhatsApp group of our seniors and alumni. We clarify many doubts about placements and yes of course in studies. They even helped some of our seniors by offering a job.
Admission
By having our 12th mark and cutoff of the 12th mark we need to register our interest in engineering and others in the Anna University. The registration fee for this is 500. After some days based on our cutoff, we get our call letter and we can choose our subject and college there.
Faculty
They are kind and good. But the faculties are not permanent here some may leave even in one year. Most are the faculties completed their Ph.D. so they are well educated and have more knowledge. They can also teach in a simple and understanding way.
