MITS college review

the course curriculum for the electrical engineering department is good for the student which is about to become an engineer . it is designed well keeping in mind that the student is to be prepared to solve the real world problems. i chose this course because i wanted to become an engineer but i wanted a core branch so i chose electrical engineering as my course. in my opinion the classes should get better and the labs should get more machines and equipments to increase the indulgance of every student.

companies like indiamart offer 3 month internship with a monthly stipend of 6000-10000 rupees tasks are specified at the time of internship mosty tasks are related to coding and programming and database managemet

students can take placements in there 7th and 8th semester companies like indiamart and volvo offer 400000-500000 for the students average package is about 400000 and highest package is 2900000 60% students get placed and the rest are seen to prepare for govt jobs , some of them choose entrpreneurship etc I'll be looking forward to placements

the tuition fee of the course for 1st year is about 1,38,500 and till the end of the course[4 years] the students pays about 5,00,000 rupees. the college is state government owned and the state government provids scholarships like the medhavi chhatra scholarship and scholarship for the students belongig to the below poverty line category. the college also provides inhouse internship programs and opportunities to take up internships in different copanies.

the overall experience of the college life is great. technical fests like celsius and roboarena are held in month of december january and are very exciting. there are ample amount of books in library and range from yashwant kanetkar to blackbook. these are accessible easily the infracture greenry and sports facilty will catch anyone's eye clubs like hindisamiti and bandish are very active and keep organising great events frequenty.

good quality big rooms are provided in hostels with a separate study room and each room is shared by 4 students. good food is provided the registration process for hostel is done during adimission and it is pretty affordable currently i am living in a pg in purshottam vihar gwalior

the eligibility is that the student must have passed the 12th board exams and his/her jee exam score must be decent then student can apply for the mpdte counselling then depending upon the students jee score he/she may get admission in the college. for selection in electrical branch in mits the must have about 80-85 percentile in jee if he/she belongs to general category if student belongs to ews category than 75 percentile for obc category 73 percentile for sc category 30 percentile and for st category 27 percentile. the exams of the college are pretty frequent and the level of difficulty is very high. the admission process must be more organised

faculty to student ratio is good enough for the students. there are almost 3 teachers per subject for each department and each department has about 100-150 students which is my opinion is a good ratio becuse the college also provides mentor-mentee system in which a senior is a mentor of the student and the mentor helps the student in every aspect possible.
