Remarks

The management of the college is supportive but placement and career point of view the college is not the right option.

Course Curriculum Overview

The labs of the College are not very good but the academics of the College is satisfactory. Early the college is affiliated to Ranchi University but now the college is affiliated to Jharkhand Technical university and that is why they started new curriculum.

Placement Experience

The placement is not so good but in the year 2018, 3 students placed in a Chinese company at a package of 13 lac.

College Events

There are many events in college for example freshers party for newcomers, farewell for last year students but the main event of college is college fest named Genesis. It is celebrated in memory of the owner of the College Dr. Bahadur sir. The college also organizes many cultural and technical fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

43000 rupees for 1st semester including admission and 32000 rupees for the rest of the semester. The fee is paid semester wise. They charge examination fee separately. The fee of college uniform is included in the admission fee. The examination fee is 2300 rupees approximately.

I do not opt to loan any scholarship for my education because the amount was not so big.

Campus Life

The gender ratio of the college is not so good, especially in mechanical branch. There is always 1 or 2 girl in mechanical branch. The campus life is adventurous as you make new friends and the seniors are also very supportive and ragging is strictly prohibited in college.

Alumni/Alumna

After college, the meeting between the ex-student become very less you can say we rarely meet with each other

Admission

I directly went to college and applied for BTech.The staff is cooperative and admission finished in 2 days. There were many other processes for taking admission. You can apply for Jharkhand combined exam and by counseling, you can get college and it will benefit you more because by TFW you can do your BTech in 6000 rupees per semester.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
