What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure was quite commendable and the teachers by far were the best when it comes to helping us during our time there
Library was filled with books and we never had any problems in finding notes or study materials at that time
The indoor stadium with good seating arrangement and a roof was the ones stop for us to hangout or play

Dislikes

Less co curricular activities made college life filled with only studies for the majority of the year
The student council was still developing but as time will pass I feel it will grow.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course as I had earlier studied in the commerce background so I opted for that. When it came to the college, it helped me learn the course in depth and it further provided more information on the course materials and later build us towards a proper approach to studies. The timing of exams were very easy and easy for all the students considering some of us had part time jobs to attend.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was very considerate where the price for one year would eventually turn out to be below 30000 where some colleges crossed a lakh per annum. Scholarships was also provided to many students which helped them a lot

Campus Life

The campus life was very calm and collected. Canteens well maintained and food was a must. The library provided all the possible books needed by an individual during their course. The technological advancements was also at top level with a very well equipped maintenance team The groups and clubs were also up and bringing

Admission

The admission process was very easy. We just needed to fill the form and submit in my time where the staff members assisted us to the most. Now they have opted online admissions too which made it more simpler.

Faculty

Each one of the professors were professional lecturers with high qualification and knowledge at par with most high grade universities. The teachers were always available whenever we needed and also if needed they would provide extra lectures for the students. The main approach to teaching was interaction and ease of understanding for the teachers as they opted the easiest methods possible for the ease of learning

The course is quite hard because we have to learn a lot of things and if we don't concentrate well we might fail in exams and for the major papers like accounts we have to practice like everyday to be used to it

My College Experience in St. Edmund's College

Placement Experience:

the students from 4th Semester above are eligible for the campus placements. the college placement cell provides each and every opportunity to the students and to influence the students to not only be good in the academics but to also have extra curricular activities. the college placement cells always conducts online or offline meetings with the students, to hell them faced the real world and to not be covered in a bubble shell. they brings people from outside to conduct the meeting and select students who are capable. Many companies has offered placement for the students from our college, companies from the country as well as outside the country. the highest package is 30000 and average package is 5000 as offered by the company. the percentage of students getting placements is 95% out of 100%. the remaining 5% may have their own reasons to not go for the placement or they are not selected for the placement. My plans after getting my degree is to continue with my UPSC, i don't have any other plan apart from UPSC.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies which visits the campus such as Google, big 4 , HDFC , ICCI , Bajaj , dell and many more.. Students can get placement from there last year .. Average package is 7-8 LPA ... Students scoring 7-8 cgpa gets good placement

The college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really found this course very interesting and since I am interested in building up my own business if everything works for me this course is the best to guide me . Since our course is semester wise so we have two semesters every year and each semester is of 6 months and at the end of every semester we have the end sem exams . Over and above that we use to have internals and assignments for each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since the college name itself suggests that it has Commerce in it so the Commerce department teachers and course were very relevant and facilities like issuing books from library is there for students who can't afford to buy books and apart from books we also have journals and newspapers for our reference. Besides, there are computers in the library for us when we need to do any presentation or any other work. It is helpful for students. Though the name has Commerce in it, the college also offers course for Arts stream, i.e. BA.
