It takes most of the time and a strict attendance criterion takes a lot of out of station opportunities from you. But it is also beneficial as it gets you 60 marks just for attending classes at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is strictly based on the UGC guidelines. The syllabus is updated every year and the course includes two honors and one subsidiary subject. Apart from this, they have a foundation course for three subjects. Semester wise exams are held. 3 hours two type of questions are asked objective and subjective. 20 minutes for objective and 2 hours and 40 minutes for subjective. The marks vary from 8 marks to 22 marks.
Placement Experience
They are ample job opportunities as college organizes many campus drives for placements. The college also organizes career fare where many companies come to see the potentials of students and interview them. The vocational courses cell of the college has many tie-ups with other outer sources that provide the students with internships in different fields. Yearly diploma courses are available.
College Events
Republic Day, Independence Day, Symposium, Tarang, Economics fest, Clean campus drive. The events are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm and the college is the most cheerful at this time. Preparations are done with open hearts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Affordable. Many students from weaker sections of the economy study at IEHE due to the feasibility of fee structure. Ranges from fifteen thousand a year. It is expensive for NRI students. Medhavi students pay a lesser amount.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships but for that, you need to check the portal. Every information is given on the portal and it itself is the best help you can get from IEHE. I did not get any scholarships.
Campus Life
NCC, NSS, Rotaract club, cultural committee, vocational cell, badminton, volleyball, cricket. There are also a lot of events in which you get to volunteer and organize for which you even get certificates.
Hostel Facilities
I'm not a hostel lad but as far as I know, it is good but is only allotted according to the merit list. The infrastructure is the poorest of all. The canteen sucks but there are improvements taking place and new buildings are under construction.
Alumni/Alumna
Very helpful! Very friendly! Always supporting! Alumni meet is conducted every year. The students are cheered to meet the faculty and vice versa. The juniors are always delighted to see their seniors.
Admission
Selection is done on merit basis. Once you make it in the list according to the cutoff, you're called for a personal interview where you've to verify your documents. The faculty is one of the best here.
Faculty
The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. They are ever ready to help the students and provide them with every possible help. The teaching methods include both classroom and digital teaching.
