Remarks
The positive thing about this college is good alumni, a nice environment to study, play or anything, good library, good faculty members and wifi campus. The only negative thing about this college is the bad infrastructure. I think the infrastructure here can be made better. The hostel food is not so good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine here. The teachers complete their syllabus in the required time period. They also take tests every month. Also, the laboratory works are taken as a serious concern. Both courses 3 years and 4 years are available in this college. The exam structure is according to Panjab University, Chandigarh rules. The course is semester wise. They take examinations in December and May every year.
Placement Experience
Yes, my college provides an internship in many reputed companies. I didn't take the internship because I have to do post graduation from this college. But many of my friends got good jobs at stipend 12k to 15k per month after graduation. Obviously, this college offers many internships as well as placements. They also have their own placement cell for the recruitment of students in many reputed companies.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in college. The star night is one of them and even the biggest of them which is celebrated every year. The election event is also the big event celebrated in the college. The different departments also celebrated their special day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. It is a private college but not expensive. This college doesn't take big amounts like other private colleges. But there is some course which is self-financed and therefore expensive. But 90% of the course have feasible fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, I don't know about any loan facility offered by my college. But I know about the scholarship. They offer a scholarship for poor and needy students. Also, the scholarship is based on the test, interview, and class performance. They also offer a scholarship for top 3 students in every mid-semester tests.
Campus Life
As I said earlier, the lab is just good. Lab staff is also nice. There is a cricket ground which is also well maintained. The basketball and tennis lawn is also available for students who see their future in sports. NCC, NSS, Lasya dance group, Dark shadow dance group etc are also available here to give shine to your hidden talent.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is too nice here. I had many problems during my first year but they solved all of them very gently. They listen to the student and help them. The seniors are also very helpful. Usually, they help us with notes and regarding our syllabus books.
Admission
The admission process of this college includes university entrance exams marks. I had to give an entrance exam for the undergraduate course. You must have passing marks in that exam to get admission in this college. And after that, the college issues a merit list based on Cet marks and 12 marks.
Faculty
The faculty in this college is good. As I am a student from chemistry and I can only say about chemistry faculty. The chemistry faculty is very nice and talented in this college. They solved your problems regarding syllabus or course very nicely.
