Course Curriculum Overview
This MBA PGPFM Course gives us the opportunity to get Placement in Corporate Companies such as Consultancies, AMC, CA Firm, Securities, Brokerage Firms and lots of Companies. Doing an MBA in Finance can provide a strong foundation in financial management, analysis, and strategic decision-making. It equips you with skills highly sought after in the corporate world, such as financial modeling, risk management, and investment analysis. Additionally, it opens up opportunities for careers in investment banking, corporate finance, asset management, and more. There are 4 Semesters and 8 Quadmester Exams in our MBA PGFM Course. The Quadmester takes place every after 3 months and the Semester exams takes place after 6 months. The exams are not very hard it's average but in Finance we have to study lot than Marketing and other bstches of MBA
Internships Opportunities
Many good companies visit here for internship and traineeship purpose. Usually everyone gets the internship along with good stipends. The duration of the internship program usually goes from 2 months to 6 months depends upon company to company.
Placement Experience
The college provide good placements to their students with decent packages. The big four companies also visits here. The average package given is Rs 600000 and the highest package was 13.5 lakhs. Usually 80% students are placed every year
Fees and Financial Aid
The college charges Rs 608000 for the entire 2 year program of the mba curriculum. If a student feels that they are running low in finance then they can apply for students credit card which is available in the college. There are many good opportunities provided here in terms of organisation for the students as well
Campus Life
The overall campus life is very good for students. The starting life of MBA for 1 year is full of learnings and enjoyment. The library is not big at all but sufficient books are available for students. However many clubs are there in college and the best event happen here is OLE which is memorable.
Admission
The admission process is based on CAT, MAT and GMAT. The minimum requirement marks is 50%. After that students must proceed with GDPI Round. There are certain reservation benefits also available here. However the exam patterns followed here are Quadmester system.
Faculty
The Faculty Members as well as our Teachers of our BIBS college are very helpful, They teaches us with proper detailing with precise knowledge. Our Teachers also takes Communication classes to improve our communication and takes practice sessions on Mock PI and GD which is very helpful for our Placement process, our teachers and faculty members make ourselves ready for the Corporate Industry and for the Placement process. Our College Bengal Institute Of Business is the only college which was taking Apti classes to make the students ready for Placement Apti Tests, so that we can clear the Apti. Our College also arranges Corporate Events like MGIS where Corporate and Management Guests arrive and students learn a lot from the lectures from the Management Guests and students are also free to ask questions to the guests.We can interact with our college teachers and faculty members at any time they always help and stand by our side.
