GNIOT: A good choice for B.Tech

The curriculum is so well designed like it's an aktu affiliated college. Curriculum is ofcourse predefined but the sessional happen at 1 months usually two sessional a semester. The course they follow in quite old. They prepare employees if you have that capacity you shine as leader . The teacher here might not feel interested in teaching sometimes. They teach something and whatever they teach never matches the semester level questions. Sometimes the teachers start so slow that they end up leaving some topics untouched.

Some of the seniors have been given internships but the number is very less.So major people don't know about that these companies are tcs , wiproo etc. College has tieups to different companies we hope of having more internship offers in coming years.

From 5th semester means 3rd year students are eligible for placements.The major recruiters here are banks and tcs also most of the btech students are placed in the sales. This year the highest placement is 24 lpa a.nd average placement is around 5 lpa

So this year in 2023 when I took admission the fee was 1,49,600.Lats year it was 130k .so every year there is hike in fees. College don't offer any scholarship only Uttar Pradesh government scholarships are provided to students. The students who come through counselling and have Annual family income less than 200k are eligible for the same. The campus placement scenerio isn't so good but hopefully from this year there will be because this year in 2024 GNIOT got NAAC A+ also the highest achieved by a GNIOTian this year is 254 lpa.

The campus is lush green has canteens,Stationery, night canteen every thing. There is big ground for football and cricket ,a badminton court, volley ball space. The library has about 40k books it has a very good atmosphere for studying chairs tables all are very comfortable each room has 2 AC, Computer lab is also there in the library where you can use the computer. The library hours are 9-7. The photography club is there.

Like I've opted for hostel in the first year so I can tell you each and everything . The rooms are reconstructed. Rooms are spacious each room has a balcony , proper ventilation os their. Menu has everything veg only they Don't serve non veg even eggs and also they don't allow you to bring nonveg in the hostel. There are 2 types of room AC and cooler each has 2 seater ans 3 seater options. I opted for 2 seater cooler I was charges 128k.

You can take admission in GNIOT through JEE MAINS entrances exam which is conducted by NTA twice every year. Also there is management quota so 85% of admissions are being taken from Jee mains and remaining 15 are filled from Management quota . Like from jee mains if you are from SC/St or Ews there is somereservafion for you like I am from EWs so even having 3lakhs something rank I got admission. Beware of those councellor who call you sating well provide you admission details and all will help you the procedure just come to knowledge park 2 metro station take an auto he'll take you to GNIOT.

We have a class 45 students which is quite a good student-faculty ratio. In the period of 50 mins usually teacher will come to your desk twice or thrice also they'll keep an eye on you throughout. They faculties are well qualified and trained they have a very good approach of teaching in each class there is smart board and a white board. Teachers try their best to teach but there are some teachers also who just come teach and go.
