About my college

The good about college is infrastructure. it has good classrooms, canteen, labs etc. There are different buildings for each branch and a big library with a separate building and also there is a separate building called admin station.

The course called electronics and communication department is difficult for the students who join based on diploma at first year because by the time the diploma students join engineering the syllabus will be almost completed and it will be only one month left for final sem exam. this experience was I faced when I joined may be in nit college in the year 2012. there was no one to help me when I joined college. I couldn't get any books to study. it made me very difficult to recover. the exam structure at my college is very good.

In Raichur, only nit college has campus placement as everybody knows about it. I was very happy when I heard about this. but when I attended placements it was horrible. I attended the placements for a vivan talent solution company. In order to attend an interview, the placement officer told to pay Rs.7000 amount to pay and we accepted to pay it. as we want to do a job. They told before the campus drive pays the amount and take an offer latter. and u get Rs.16000/month.we accepted all there roles and attended the interview. the interview was successfully completed. The company HR told us we will be having 3 months training and transport accommodation will be given. the job description was system designer.at the interview time they told job location at Hyderabad but when we went to join the company they told Vivan company not located at Hyderabad but it is located in Jurgen. so they told some other company to join know as spiciness. In this company in order to join we need to pay Rs.25000 for a medical test. they told only who do medical test only they are allowed to get a job. so I rejected these. we went 3 times to Hyderabad regarding this placement. the thing which we noticed was They want to take only money but they we were not ready to give a job. hence I request the new students who want to do engineering please don't join nit collage Raichur. guys don't be impressed by seeing building because quantity is not important quality is important.see quality, not quantity

There are many events celebrated in my college years there will be a minimum of two big functions celebrated example nitvotsiv, ethnics day etc. even we celebrate sports bay, engineers day, teachers day, silver jubilee, golden jubilee etc. The college faculties encourage students to take enroll in events and make students come forward and show their talents in extracurricular activities. The faculties make students feel free in taking participate in events. Every month we have an event. this college is very good at celebrating events.

In this college every year they increase 20,000 admiration and 10,000 for exam fees every sem. The fees are too high in this college as we all know that the exam fee of VTU is 550 per sem but they take more amount. and they take a fee for events during sem exam fee. For some students they took bus facility fees and bus was not arranged and they did not retain that amount. this college is meant only to make money not to give knowledge to students. They won't retain scholarship amount soon. The students only who have nit college banks account only they have the option of scholarship.

In this college, we have an option of scholarship applying. It takes one year to get a scholarship and there is a rule that we should have a nit college bank account in order to get a scholarship. I have applied my final year scholarship in 2017 and not yet received till now. The procedure of my college scholarship is the amount from the government is transferred to college banks and then given to students.

it is not good in studies, it is a well-constructed building of different branches. It is good at hostel facilities and canteen facilities. It is also good at a library building but very few books. each subject only 5 copy. Some prescribed author books not available. the practicals are good at this college. Each person gets a chance to do experiments.

The seniors were not helped fully at my batch, some bad activities were done at the alumni network in this college, seniors do not help juniors. we should strangle single and work hard as a single. Don't depend on faculties about the subject we should learn by yourself. Faculties only think to complete the syllabus don't think of understanding capacity.

I wrote the diploma CET exam in order to join engineering. Then I got 2000 ranking in Cet exam. after this, I gave college name selection. The first name which I selected was Reva collage at Bangalore. the second option which I selected was a nit and the 3rd option was SLN. According to my ranking, I did not get Reva collage at Bangalore as seats were available at nit I got in nit collage Raichur. It was near to my home I accepted nit college seat

The faculties are average in assessing in the college. The faculties come only to get experience certificate and to earn money. Some faculty is good to some extent. They have knowledge but don't know how to execute in front of students. According to me, the faculties should atract the students in teaching. They should not make students boring. Some faculties follow only roles but never follow to explain the subject. Some faculties only write the notes on the board they never explain the concept of the subject. Some faculties are bookworms they never gave knowledge of the subject. He should give basic knowledge of the subject except which is given in the textbook. Another important thing which a faculty should have is a loud and clear voice.
