Average college but gives you full freedom

College management improved a lot in a span of 4 years and I am happy to see the changes. But it can be better and I believe it will happen some.

The course is as per Rajasthan Technical University Kota. To be honest, it is outdated as you get in other universities of India. Initiatives are being taken both by Govt and University. Exams are a one-night stand or if you study regularly it will be more beneficial afterward in the GATE exam. Companies visit but salary structure is b/w 1.5-3.5 lakh per annum.

This year 2019 many companies are visiting for placement. Package varies b/w 1.5-3.5 lakh per annum for on-campus placement. For Off-campus placement which you have to travel and attend on your own expenses varies b/w 5-30 lakh per annum. You have to prepare yourself for placement what you learned in course duration. Internship leaves are granted by the college which is of at most 60 days.

Events are being celebrated by initiatives of students and college staff. But mostly initiatives are taken by students only and college is ready to help them. They are supportive. In the past, college fest was organized by various engineering branches.

Fee structure at my time was up to 35000 INR/semester and hostel fee was around 50k-60k/ year. The first-year fee included security deposit so it was a little higher and exam fee is up to 1500 INR /semester, revaluation fee is up to 500 INR/subject. You have other options to live in nearby colony also and their rent varies b/w 2000-4000/month and transportation charges rs 10/ day.

Education loan is availed through Bank situated in college campus itself and scholarship is availed through Proctor Department. Education loan is easily available. The scholarship is available to those who are eligible ie. on basis of caste, family income along with the percentage of marks scored.

Campus life is as I told you is quite carefree. Extracurricular activities happen but only fresher or 2nd/3rd-year students seem to take more interest. Sports competition are held and college participates in the inter-college competition. Expenses are sometimes given by college for train tickets and accommodation. Tech fest organized in IIT's is a better way to experience awesomeness.

There is a facebook group for alumni who posts job notifications which is helpful. Senior students treat junior well, the fresher party are organized by seniors to know each other well. It depends on person to person how much communication you want to establish.

Admission is through REAP and direct admission on remaining seats. Admission commences from the month of May-June and session starts in August. College can be changed through 2nd counseling also and admission can be taken back if you don't like college after one year and fees are also refunded(can be confirmed by communicating with authority).

Faculty of our college is cool. They take proper classes if most of the students prefer. I think they should be trained in the latest technologies of respective fields. They talk in a friendly manner and are very supportive. The only thing needed is you have to have some purpose to talk to them related to curriculum or college stuff/activities.
