Best for studies in Patna.

College Of Commerce , the college in which I study is the best college in Patna, Bihar I think. As there is facility to study all the streams as well as professional courses. The college has placement opportunities and the college has good infrastructure.

There is no entrance examination for the admission in this college, the admission process goes through the cutoff which is based on your academic performance. I got 74% in my intermediate examinations and opt for this college. As I am a student from commerce stream I opt this college as it is the best college in Patna to study commerce. It has great infrastructure, nice faculty and placement opportunities to some extent too.

The college has three streams to study i.e. science, commerce & arts. Apart from these the college runs some professional courses too..i.e. BCA , MCA, MBA, BBA. All the faculties are NET, PhD Scholars and are well mannered and well behaved. They coordinate with us always. Whenever we are in need, they just help us from their heart. When they start delivering their lectures, you just cant get out the class even if you have some important work as they are so convincing that you dont want to leave thier class.

Generally, there is no such good placement opportunities for commerce students in my college but companies come for the placemnt procedures for the students from the professional courses. General stipend offered was about to 5k. Some of the companies which came to my college were Gillete, Hero Motocorp, etc.

Last year some companies came for the placement of students from the professional courses. As per my knowledge, 30 students were selected from the campus. The highest salary offered was 3,60,000. 5- 6 companies had come to select sudents but the major companies which came were Gillette and Hero Motocorp.

Every year, all the streams celebrate their farewell and freshers' party particularly. Apart from that, The arts and commerce students organise a cultural fest every year in which The Rock Bands of college perform. it has a huge sensation and the gathering is at very large stage. I am a singer too and always participate in such events.

The fee is charged once a year for every course. For my course, It is 10,000 every year which is not such expensive.The fee includes all the charges of exams, labs, practicals, etc so there no any other cost to be borne by the student except the books cost. For professional courses, the fees is double the academic courses.

Loans are not available in this college. but I must say that the college has good scholarship facility for the OBC, SC,ST students, as the college runs scholarship programs for meritious students from this class and provides 1-2k monthly for their study expenses.

The ration of boys : girls is almost 10:7 (as per my experience). The college doesnot provide hostel facilty as I have said earlier. Personality Developement workshops are always held here as recently Dainik Jagran came and organised the same.students from all the castes. class, gender and religion come here to study and there is no such discrimination between them. Every student is treated equally. Even I've friends from all classes, genders and religions in my college.

The college doesnot provide hostel facilty. But the area provides PG facility and rental rooms which is very nice. the college area belongs to the students and the locality has good infrastructure for students. One will get a rental room in Rs.1500 per mo

I have not experienced any meeting with the alumni but I have met my seniors in the college. they are very friendly and always help us in our studies. I must say that the college is free form Ragging and we live and study freely with our seniors.

The exams are not such frequent to leave us hectic as the exams are held in alternative days, so we have the to study and to take rest. The practicals and labs for the entrepreneurial practice are not such hectic and can be managed easily. So the studies
