Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is a highly in demand course and at the same time dynamically changing . lab facilities should be improved as well because labs can only provide the practical experience and knowledge of our field. Exam cycle was also very rigid and faculties hardly did any experimentation with the way they can assess the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is approximately 70000 per semester. Tution fee doesn't hike regularly and at a time, there is doesn't increases much, nearly 500-1000 at once. Tution fee remission is also available based on annual family income certificate. If income is between 1-5 lakhs per annum, then 66 percent remission is provided in the tution fee. 70000 (seventy thousand) per semester is the total fee (including tution fees which is around 63000) if you have not taken college hostel.If you got hostel then you will be paying 25000 more.This is the case if your family income is greater than 5 lakh.Now if your family income is less than 5 lakh but greater than 1 lakh then 2/3rd of your tution fees will get removed and only 1/3rd of tutiIf income is less than 1 lakhs per annum thincome is between 1-5 LPA. Breakup is : 55000 for hostel and mess, 28000-29000 per semester for two semesters
Campus Life
I would say the overall campus life of my college is good we have a huge campus of around 100 acre which is green throughout the year we have we Grounds in which we can play different sports such as cricket Football Volleyball badminton another athletic report there are various different clubs and committees in our college.
Admission
Addmission process was through JEE exam i.e. Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted by NTA. There are 2 stages of this exam,Jee mains and Jee advance.Once you get the percentile/rank in jee mains required to get into NIT RR (which you can see from last year cutoff) then you can sit for JOSSA councelling and get the admission.In order to get admission, a person has to give JEE main then he will get a percentile and on the basis of that percentile he has to sit in jossa and seasheb counselling it is 8 stage process and after the disabled last days whatever seat he will get that is final.
Faculty
Faculty members are much qualified. Are are having degree of PhD and their teaching experiences are also very high. Some faculties have even 10 to 15 years of experience and they are amazing at their work. But,In CSE discipline, there is a need for more young and energetic faculty team which can sync itself to the needs of industry, which was missing in the college as most of the professors treat this like just another government job and were interested in completing their Phds.
