Course Curriculum Overview

4

Coming to the curriculum , their relevence is much appreciated to the course we choose. As of now the curriculum is not that diverse so that it would prepare us to face the really world. Coming to the computer science courses, the computer languages are very well thought and they also prepare you to face the outside challenges. The good part is the curriculum allows you to do internships when ever you want, all you need is just knowledge. Especially in coputer science the curriculum is very relevant with the outside world and very comprehensive. The exams are conductued as assesemsnts for 1week , and we have three assessments, Cat1, cat2, and fat. Where cat 2 is open book examination. Coming to the difficulry of the paper, it depends on how you study. Mostly the presentation which teachera provide is enough to score merit marks in the examinations. The curriculum would be better if they make the course more close to the real world. Also I feel there is no need of conducting cat1, exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the credits in the college, doing am internship is also considered. The internships available are boundless in onlines and limited in offline. At the end you cgpa decided you internship. Microsoft is one among the companies which come for internships and there are very less companies that pay you for the internship. That's why people tend to search online. Not many huge companies come for internship, this it's all your luck and hardwork. You perform well you get well.

Placement Experience

4

Seeing the seniors I can say there are indeed campus placents in the college where you get payed a handy amount . The best part is that the placenst happen very fairly and only the talented and worthy get placed. The placemsnts are very fair strict and hopfeul. The assurance of getting placed is comparayivrlg high. If we are not placed then , still we get our degree, son next we can have startup or use you connection to find jobs, or finally do masters and get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fee is 2.5 lakh, and the entrance exam rank and your preferences decide your category fees. Also, your reservation decides your category fees and rank. There are mostly no hikes in the tuition fee, and talking about scholarships, the entrance examination topper gets nearly 50 percent scholarship. If you are a foreign student, then the entrance exam will have a scholarship criteria, and if you get that, the indian embassy will pay for you. Only foreign students have the facility of stipends only if they score well. Campus employment is not present at the moment; it is just student-student interaction with the outer world for projects, money, etc.

Campus Life

5

The spcila life of campus is very beautiful. It is a highly populated college with many students., so there is no reason to feel that you are alone. In the first sem you are just allowed to know what clubs are there and what thould they serve, and from the second sem onwards you can get into the clubs and participate in the events. The most beautiful thing is that there are no differnces in the clubs and you can have many performances scheduled or have interclub exchanges. The college provide no eulquipment support for the clubs it is just the students. And coming ot the fests, the fests are like festivals, for 4 days where you have many stalls, activities and fun rounds so we can enjoy very much. The social life depends on how you speak but it is friendly. You feel supportive. Joining clubs can improve you asa human and also it is a very good point to be mentioned in job resume..

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are vey good, their day to day maintenance, the wardens and their sincerity, the rooms , bathrooms, etc. There is no ragging in the hostels, and you feel safe. Coming to the mess, the food is decent, neat and the mess staff are also very understanding. The meal quantity is very sufficient because it is self-service, and you can serve yourself. The hostel registration for the first sem is done in the online at homes if available choose. But from the second year, you cgpa decide on you hostel choosing. You cgpa gives you a rank in college and you go in for selection according to you rank and the you chhose in how much is left. Coming to the hostels it's costly and starts from 1,00,000 per year. But apart from that the hostles ade very good and the hostle office helps you

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. First, they see our rank in the entrance question, which is of 125 questions and no negative marks. According to the rank, they give the available courses for that rank, and you have to give your preferences. Once done with the preferences, there will be a counseling day and they will allot you the course you get along with the fees and its category (fees changes with category). Then we have to deal with documents, affidavits, hostel selection, mess elections, I'd card photo sessions, vtop online platform account creation, college email creation, etc. Finally, the admission process went very smoothly and in less time.

Faculty

3

It depends on what faculty members you choose in the ffcs program. You find this by interacting with seniors and get to know about teachers. But to speak honestly there a re very few teachers who teach efficiently, rest of them just put the presentation on the screen and read what's written in that slide. Now the efficient one you should choose with ffcs. The faculty to student tatio is comparatively high and the classes are divided accordingly with the strength of the class. At a maximum we see each class has 65 members. If you focus very well in the class and try to stay attentive then you will come into the good books of the teacher and he will guide you. Some lab assistants themselves do not properly the subjects and they judge us which is quite annoying. Apart from that , the faculty variety is too much so you have the choice of choosing good teachers and who also teaches good and gives less work load.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.
