College management is not strong. It can be improved by introducing the latest technology.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum are useful enough to understand industry standards and requirements. The first year has two semesters and each semester has 2 labs. Seminars used to conduct in the classroom to overview the syllabus. All the seminars were conducted under the professor's supervision.
Placement Experience
Coming to the placements, few multinational companies like Wipro and Infosys have come to absorb the students. Government organizations have always offered and encouraged students from our university for the internship and industrial training.
College Events
Science Congress, college festival, department day, teacher's day, IEEE conference, workshops, paper presentations, sports competitions, were some events which I have observed in our university. There are several other events where the guests from industries come down and present their views.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure varies depending on the type of admission. For suppose if a person gets admitted with sponsored Quota, he has to pay 1 lakh per year. Coming to the person who gets a seat through PGCET and gates the fees is almost 25,000 per year. And the examination fees are very low (50rs) per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not opted for scholarship and education loan. But if a person who is qualified in GATE and gets admission to our university. He is eligible for 12,000 RS stipend.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. In master's our strength is 20 members per classroom. Out of 20, 9 members were girls. we have a big sports ground. And there are few science and technology events, where we get a chance to explore and experience different techniques and technologies.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a great alumni network. We get emails and support from them. They refer to use in different companies and guide us to pursue our career.
Admission
After completing b.tech, I have given PGCET examination which was conducted in June. And I got the admission according to the ranking. Anyways a good scorecard in GATE is the best way to get the admission. In order to get a seat through Sponsored quota, the priority will be given to candidate with a good PGCET rank.
Faculty
Andhra University is a prestigious institution, which has a well-equipped laboratory and experienced professors. They teach the syllabus in the research point of view. They encourage students to publish the papers, which are definitely an add-on to the student's profile.
