- Infrastructure and campus is one of tge best you can find with tge roads and greenery.
- There is internal pg quota so getting pg seat is quite easy.
- Acedemics is awesome. Teaching is clinical based.
Dislikes
- Hostel ameneties like food, washrooms and water are not upto the mark.
- Any initiative requires a host of permissions and beaurocracy due to university politics.
- BHU being a multi faculty university is a host to many nuisances in the names of members of society. Usually the other faculty students act as hooligans.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our teaching is completely clinical based and relevant to the practical scenario. The professors and JR's try to teach the topics in their best possible ways so as to make us understand about the clinical application of our knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
There is 1 year mandatory internship with a stipend of 23500 which is pretty great compared to other state colleges. There is hands on learning during internship which greatly enhances our practical skiils.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since this is a central institute, the fees is minimal, 30000 an year. Also, you are eligible for government scholarships if you are qualified and in need. Also, the internship stipend is quite good as compared to a state college.
Campus Life
We have a large scope for extracurricular activities here, especially in our yearly fest, ELIXIR. Sports culture is much prevelant and even tournaments with other faculties of the university are held which offers much opportunities for your game.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is different for different year students. 1st years have 2 seater rooms in Atreya, which changes to 4 seater in Ruiya and 2 seater again in annexe. Hostel fees is bare minimum of 500 rs. Ginal years have their individual rooms.
Admission
You should have atleast under 1000 rank in NEET UG for asmission in the college for UR catagory. It is different for other catagory students. Admission process is through the standard mcc portal, and no state reservation is there so all seats are filled from AIQ.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite adequate. We have a small batch size of only 100 so learning is efficient. Every professor teaches a new topic, the topic they are well versed in. Also clinical based skills and teaching is encouraged.
