Likes
- The best thing is our college is autonomous. So the syllabus is very refined and we are thought only important things. Which will used at the time of our placement. And the syllabus is also very less when compared to other colleges.
- As the syllabus is very less we get plenty of time in order to refine our own core skills. Our college also provides hostel at a relatively cheap price when compared to other hostels. It also provides badminton nad basketball court. food is average
- Teachers are good. They are friendly accept few. One more good thing is if you don't have a laptop to bring to our college you can issue it from our college and use it as your own. Our college provides real world education .
Dislikes
- The attendance policy in our college is very bad. It is mandatory to maintain 85 percent attendance. Our colles also don't provide a lot of holidays so. We have to come college like every day and save the attendance for any emergency situation
- The classes are not properly designed in order to study in summers . The amount of humidity our classes have is unmatched.but you cant even bunk class as there are very less students in class. So it's very hard to take fake attendance.
- The current dean of our college is very mean. He doesn't leave any opportunity to make classes mandatory. Above all this if you are a student with low attendance you have to attend extra classes otherwise you will be detained . So low internal marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course that we are thought is very less and precise. As our college is autonomous we don't have to worry about the subjects like chemistry. As being a case student you will not apply chemistry in your life. We are thought what is necessary as for engineering point of view. The main highlight will be our workshops .in which you are are thought just coding laguages and no other subjects for one month .they also provide a teacher who is currently working in an industry so that you can have a real world experience. The improvement that i will suggest will be the languages that we are thought in our workshops are very easy. And we should be thought some tougher subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
88The fess when compared to other colleges is very high . It is just because the college is only autonomous college in aktu. The college doesn't even provide air cooled room. It you are a student going for direct admission you can avail a discount if you pay all your money at once. For councling students there is no discount The total fees for 1st year student is 174600.They don't ask demand any extra fees such as exam fees etc. This is just the fees you also need some equipment for studies and bring copies . Ok including all that for attending college as day scholar you need 180000 per year. You can avail the scholarship money if 60,000 being a student of up. But If you are here from other states you need to have nba accredited branch so that you can atleast avail central government scholarship. You are awarded 5000 rupees for maintaining 100 percent attendance in 1st year. As for placement you can not get good placement by college.you need to apply off campus
Campus Life
Usually there are very less fest organised by our college. The best one is Jagmag at the time before diwali. but there are many tech fest held in order to regain the interest in coding for every student.thus is held throughout the year. The library of the 1st year campus is very small. There is a good library in the 2md year campus. I will be able to that next year. All the classes in our 1st year campus is equipped with smart boards. But there in air conditioning and proper ventilation. There is not much of extracurricular activity in our campus .there is just one badminton and a basketball court. There are clubs which will help you take part in sports . And will take you to proper ground to improve your skills .all kinds of clubs are present in our college that you can think of.
Admission
I had a rank of 2,13,000 in jee mains. Ans I wanted to pursue data science with two of my friends. I got the seat in 1st round of aktu councling. It is easy to get admission in this college with a good branch. You can apply for this college via aktu councling online. After that you will get a date of physical reporting. You need to be there on that date. The management team of admission process is very bad and you need to spend atleast one full day for the admission process. Just one suggestion keep atleast 5 photocopy of all the required documents with you If availed a FW seat you can enjoy paying just 50k per year.
Faculty
There is 1 faculty for 130 students per subject. Which according to me is good ratio. Most then are very good in their subjects. But if you want to teach just the part which is necessary then are ready for that too. most of them are nice and friendly. In clase of low attendance they can also help you with that by increasing the amount of lectures attended. When it comes to teaching there are main 2 subjects that we are thought maths and chemistry. There are more subjects but most of them are like one day subject. So you can do anything in that class. If you looking for personal guidance there are many teachers who can guide you with that. But just at the college time . After that you can only text them and they will reply to it.
