Dislikes
- There should be a general store inside the campus ad we have to always go outside when we want something like for example (soap,soap)etc
- Some of the hostel rooms are small compared to other colleges and lack of balcony is always there
Course Curriculum Overview
The cpurse curriculum is same as according every other college as i talk to my other friends whoa re in different colleges and some programs our college offer are good as JAVA extra classes which boosted students knowledge in the JAVA programming and other classes like Professional skills which help us to undertsand us how to communicate with professionals in the company.
Internships Opportunities
The companies offered interships i our college are google, microsoft, accenture and jacob and co which every year offer interships to the students. theprojects which the teachers give students to prepare as well as the students who prepare some of their own help them to get good interships certificates with some getting stipends of around 35000.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for the placements in the 7th semester. Many companies visited the college this year like Amazon,Accenture,Jacod and Co,and many other reputed companies the offer were based on the skill level of the students like the average package of around 9LPA. This year the highest package was 35lakhs offered to 3 students of the college. Around 90% students get placements every year. My planes after getting the degree is to apply for Air Traffic Controller which requires a B.Tech degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is low cmopared to other colleges of this tier and for the past 3 years it has been the same for the different cources they college offers. I'm a Computer Science Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning student and my fees is 300000 rupees and 111000 for hostel of 1 year other charges are just the semester exams where you have to pay 3100 every semester other than that there is no expense. There is scholarship avaliable for students doing well in their exams and scoring good CGPA. The college preapares you well for a job and you just need t focus on the course well they provide internships and job placements very well
Campus Life
The campus life is not too great but there are many clubs you can participate in the college with the most famos club of CSI(Computer Society of India) which I'm a member of which is a computer science club which organises hackathons and many other competitions inside and outside the college to shapen and display your coding skills. Many other clubs like arzoo (Dramatics club), Innovate (Startups club), singing clubs etc are ther and also Football ,basketball, volleyball,cricket and a table tennis team. There is a smart board in every classand tecahers on thise only which makes us to understand they topics very efficiently. The sports facilities are very good with the ground always avaliable for the practice with well cut grass and the balls and everything you need for practice also great oppoturnities to fisplay your skills i the collee help sports events.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in the room are a fan with pedestal fan if you need a bathroo with english style pot cupboards and table and a chair a bed with matteres provided by college. Menu of mess ifgood with variety of food avaliable but somedays the food is not upto the quality of taste and they should provide us with fruits. Registration of holtel can be made offline and online in your protal with very simple process of just selecting the room you want and paying the fees.
Admission
The admission process is through the online mode with PCM as the subject cut off depends on the branch of the course and specialisation you want to take i got Artificial Intelligence after getting rank of 2118 in SRMJEE exam. The applications is avaliable on the official site of SRM and all details are avaliable there Application fees is 1000 rupees. The SRMJEE is help in four phases with each roughly seperated by 1 month and difficulty is moderate to little hard. The admission process is good nd no improvement is suggested from my side
Faculty
The faculty is appropriate in the college and there is never a clash of classes of the teachers . the overall experience of teachers is very good with all of them having decent experience to teach the students with some very experienced teachers which guide some less experienced techers they all help each oter out in preparing students for a better future. Teachers are very approchable and are always ready to help you whenever you need them even they answer your doubts if you call them or message them and help you out.
