In first year 6 subjects and 5 labs will be there including drawing.all are mandatory.2 nd and 3 rd year will have 2 sems.each sem will have 6 subjects and 2 labs all are mandatory.after 3 rd year mini project is must for every one.and in 4thsem 5 electives will be there,2 in 1 st sem remaining in 2 nd sem.elective -i:digital image processing multimedia and signal codingobject oriented programming through javaelective -ii:television engineering optical communication sembedded systems designelective -iii:satellite communications biomedical instrumentation artificial neural networkselective -iv: telecommunication switching systems andnetworksradar systemsnetwork security elective -v:wireless communications and networks digital signal processors and architecturesrf circuit design

An annual technical festival called 'Aagama' is celebrated sometime in end-February or March. It's celebrated with great pomp and cheer as students count on this mega event to have the best time of the year. Participants from other colleges around the area have an equally good time. Besides Aagama, a week-long sports fest is also held at CVSR College of Engineering.
