Likes
- Great Faculties and good labs(though some instruments are quite old and need to be replaced)
- Our college has got a tremendous placement record in 2023 with highest going as high as 46LPA and avg stood at 7.6LPA and avg placement rate was 86-88%
- College Campus is quite clean and green.
Dislikes
- Placement cell can be little more active. Due to recession 2024 placements are not as expected but still our college managed to get decent amount of offers for students
- Need to work on infrastructure. Lifts stops working very often
Course Curriculum Overview
As we have become autonomous now the syllabus has changed from what it used be. Many unnecessary things have been removed and they are trying to focus on giving the subjects and topics which are branch specific. Though there are some boring subjects as well which doesn't add any value
Internships Opportunities
Students are eligible for internships after their 4th semester. There were 230+ paid internships offers with avg salary of 26k and highest was 65k by AWS. The companies makes them to work on their respective projects and at the end we have to submit a final report of the work we have done
Placement Experience
Students generally starts getting campus placement opportunities from 6th sem. 2023 year was great I terms of placement we recorded 86% placement rate with 7.6LPA avg package. 1100+ offers were made by 220+ companies. But placement has fallen little down in 2024 due to heavy recession. But it will surely get better with year passing
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here depends on the category and the entrace exam which you have taken. For kcet students it's currently 96k/yr and 250k/yr for comedk students. We have scholarships too which is based on merit. If the student is a consistent top performer he might get one easily
Campus Life
College needs to work on infrastructure wise. We need more no. Of labs due to big batch size of students. Lifts stops working very often. Culture wise our college lags very behind than others as there are very less activities in the campus
Admission
The exam which I gave was kcet which is conducted by KEA every year. Application process is released at their website atleast 3months prior to exam. Difficulty level is not that high but you have to be quick because you get only 60min to answer 60mcqs.
Faculty
Faculties here are very good and cooperative with students. Some are really very dedicated to teach their respective subjects. Almost every Faculties here holds a PHD in their respective teaching domain
