Btech in mechanical engineering is said to be the evergreen branch and also that the college provide a 8 lpa average package and maximum package may go upto 22 lpa. College provides workshop and internship to make you company ready. Well college is good for mechanical engineering 8 lpa average in mechanical engineering with 90 percent placement is no joke.

Annual festival are technika fir technical fest adhyay a cultural festival samvad a literary festival hunkar also a literary festival. Agaz a sports fest. Library provides too vast collection of books library is opened from 9 inmorning to 5 pm. Classroom are not that good average only. Some classes have smart board while some dont. In sports college is doing good. College have 9 sub councils that are technical, culitral, literary, sports, hobby, etc and clybs are good.

Admission

Admission was on the basis of your jee mains rank. Then you have to apply on jee mains website to apply for this college. As for SC category I got mechanical engineering in 135000 rank in jee mains.well jee mains is a wall known exam for its competetion.

Faculty is vwell qualified many of them are iitians and they all teach very good but may be a little bit rude sometimes but they understand students well. You can interact with faculty anytime you will always have their no. So whenever required you can approach them.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
