Likes
- First thing I would like to mention its healthy environment and alumni chain. Seniors in Hbtu are much supportive and always try to help you out in any situation.
- Secondary about infrastructure its not that much good but its on 8 to 10 because of campus has a lots of greenery so its a plus point.
- Additionally I'd like to mention about the various technical and passion related clubs running in the college these are the best part of college in my opinion these clubs provide you a different kind of base and help you to improve your personality .
Dislikes
- Schedule of classes is bit disappointing cuz classes are like 9 to 5 so you don't get much time for other activities.
- Sometimes in faculty point of view they are doing well but it's not reachable to the students the way they want so its creates some incovinence.
- Within the college sometimes it's difficult to get a opportunity for an internship you have to step out and seek the opportunity by yourself so its a little disappointing. Rest is all fun and good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering was always been my choice, firstly I like learning about medicine and secondly, I preferred it in Hbtu, getting influenced by its placements and package. As now its been 102 years of Hbtu it has all kinds of laboratories and mechines that are required for better understanding of a mechanical students so this is also one its cons.
Placement Experience
Talking about placement situation of college its quite satisfying from last few years. Even in mechanical branch it was highest last year. And if we say that if no placements offered still you have the option for applying outside the campus for better reach.
Fees and Financial Aid
As being a prestigious government college, firstly you could find the fee structure little high in comparison of other colleges but in my opinion its worth it. College also provide a feevaiour for students and government scholarship is also here so its not a big problem.
Campus Life
The best part of my college experience is being a part of different clubs and activities that are held occasionally. There are lots of active technical clubs in college where you can seek a good opportunity for your projects also there are clubs for fun activities like "Callidus":debater club, "Gruve": Dancing club and many others. And if I talk about the social environment you'll find that sometimes hbtu is all about alumni and seniors they are very much supportive and also there is also a different culture of introducing yourself infront of seniors that is quite interesting and joyfull.
Hostel Facilities
Infrastructure of hostels are good but not that much over to the expectations. There are 4 hostels for girls and around 8 hostel for boys itself. About mess food its overall good and quite satisfactory.
Admission
Admission process was quite simple as firstly it was affiliated with UPTU counseling but now HBTU conductes its counseling separately. As it is the best college in UP I simply participate in counseling process and got my satisfactory branch. Talking about application fees it was 2500 Rs. And yeah..one could avail the benefits for reservation it sometimes really helpful. I sence of improvement I just want to say that management can be better.
Faculty
Most of faculty members are done with their masters and PHD's in their specific fields and also have good sense of teaching and always maintain a coordination with students. So it's a plus point from my side cur I found them much supportive for sincere students.
