HBTU THROUGH THE EYES OF A HARCOURTIAN

During my admission in this university what i impreesed the most was its alumic network College provides the in depth knowledge of the subjects teaching can be done in more innovative way by using technological advancement There are 2 end semester and total of 4 mid semester exams 2 in each semester

Internships are given in the 3rd year of the college and are provided by the college as well as taken by the student itself This year relience offere internship to 4 students with 36000 stipend and many more conpanies given internships

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible to sit in the placemts Some companies visited were valency international,optum,Samsung(R&D) Around 90-95% of eligible students placed till the end of final year My plan is to sit for placements

tuition fee is 75000 and extra curricular fee is 60000 which makes total of 135000 for the first year total of 196000 fee is there for my entire first year and ariund 784000 for my entire btech course UP scholarship is available for the eligible candidates and other private scholarships are also based on their eligibility criteria

Annual Fest name is Adhyaay and Technical Fest name is Technika both the fest are conducted in the month of january Library has a very large range of journals and books available one can issue for themselves for a give period There are digital classrooms available in the university and also there is a new lecture hall complex built for first year and from 2nd years onwards classes are conducted in their respective departments Almost every spots is played and every sports has a team for tournaments there are so many clubs running by the students for example NSS for social awareness,callidus for debate society,gruv for dance etc

There are single and triple seated rooms in the first year hostels and one bed one fan and table chair is there for each students meal is quite good in taste and menu has large variety of dishes hostel is also given by the online process

If i talk about eligibily you should have a fair jee main score HBTU conduts its own councelling online on ts councelling portal and notice for the same comes ont website after jee advanced exam there is 27% for obc a total of 15% for sc and st reservation and 5% for the outside up students DIfficulty level of the exams are moderate. Odd semester exam conducts in the month of december and for even sem it is in the month of may There is no such improvements needed in admission process according to me

Faculty to student ratio is around 1 teacher on per 50 students. Almost all the faculties are phd holders and have a vast experince of teaching. they have in depth knowledge of their respective subejcts. but some professors lack in the way they deliver their knowlege towards students because of ther way of teaching. Faculties approach towards the students largely depends upon the student. Faculties are always ready to help the students in the possible manner. I interact with the faculties when i needed them during the classes to ask my doubts or when i need to ask the doubts regarding any career choice or when i has to search for the career oppornities for my self after my course of Chemical Engineering. Faculties are cooperative in every possible manner for genuine guidance about the career related issues as well as for the academic doubts. Some professors might have a tough nature but when it comes to guide the studdents.
