Likes
- I liked most about academics , academic timing is 9 to 1 pm and 2 to 4 pm ( Monday to Friday) and half day for Saturday
- You can go outside of campus 5pm to 7pm ( Monday to Friday) and full day ( Saturday and Sunday)
- There are separate 1st year hostels ( 5 hostels ) to prevent anti-ragging. 21 hostels for boys and 2 for girls . There are 4 messes for boys and single message for all girls .
Dislikes
- Girls can't go outside from hostel after 9.30 pm
- In first year , boys also can't go outside of hostel after 9.30 pm .
- Mess food is okay okay not so much high but after 2nd year you'll get better food
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is designed in 8 semester, 4 year . In all semester you have to gain 162 grade points for degree . Every semester have average 20 grade points . In first year you have same course like mechanical and civil but after 1st year your curriculum is focused on computer engineering. There are many faculties who will taught us real life problems and apply computer engineering to solve that.
Internships Opportunities
You can get internship opportunity after 4th semester. Intership opportunity are available. Only you have to learn some basic concepts . Faculty and you seniors will get you throughout links where you can get internship . You can get internship by your LinkedIn profile also
Placement Experience
From 7th semester you can eligible for campus placements and from 5th semester you can eligible for internship with 30000/month stipend and more . There are many company offers like zerodha , swiggy , ztech international, yzcommunity
Fees and Financial Aid
Let's see fees structure:- Course fees / semester :- 105350/- Hostel fees / semester :- 80000/- Jyc fees / year :- 1000/- Caution money / once:- 20000/- You can apply for scholarship like mp government scheme and sc/st scheme and some skill based scholarship worth of 8 lakhs Campus placements are good . You can get average of 6LPA and highest package of year 2023 is 40 lakh and 2024 is 30 lakh and top 20 package are for 21 lakhs
Campus Life
Campus Life is good . You can get a girlfriend if you have good communication skills and face also ???? . Girls are boys ratio is 70:30 . There are many fests like , DJ night , bollywood dhamaka , freshers , d'equinox, sine sanskriti . There are many opportunities for sports students . They can play their games in collage and outside of college also. There are many technical clubs like , DSI , ISF , ISD , GDSC , ROSPINOT , ARVRMR and cultural clubs like literary wing , drama wing , dance wing , Bhangra wing , media wing , art and event wing
Hostel Facilities
There are many hostels . Each hostel have 3 floors . Every floor have 5 rooms . Rooms are single and triple shared . Every person get one bed , one table , one almirah, one dressing table, balcony , public water cooler at each floor . Meal quality is good but not that much. You can get different foods in different days of week . There are 3 times meal ( breakfast, lunch , dinner) . Rice , dal , sweet in mandatory in dinner daily .
Admission
You have a science stream student . After 12th , you can apply for this . You can go Jaypee University of engineering and technology offical website to get admission and fill form with two ways ( by your 12th percentage and jee marks ) . Application fees is 1500/- and application starts from 15 April to 20 September
Faculty
There are many faculties for one subject. Faculty are PhD holders in their subject . Their behaviour is good but as know exception are everywhere. There are high technical labs , physical labs , chemistry lab with well equipped instrument designed by iit roorkee
