My decision to choose this course was influenced by the faculty of the college. The teachers and mentors are so good and their teaching skills and mentorship are very amazing. The curriculum helps us to be prepared for further academic pursuits or real-world applications. Further academic pursuits require the basic knowledge which is given through this course to the students. The teaching methods should be improved in the way that the students must be interested in studying and the course curriculum should also be improved. The frequency and timing of exams are also good

Class Size: 3Course Fees: INR 47500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee increase policy and rate of the course. The complete cost of my education, including tuition fee, service fees, and other complusory charges is 183000. Scholarship is given to the first 200 students who applied for the college with securing 90% and above in 12th board exam. The scholarship results in 30000 complete course fee only.

Campus Life

The name of the annual festival is "UMANG". UMANG is held in the month of December. It is continued for 4 to 5 days and on the last date, it is held in the Northern Park, Kolkata. On this day, singers like Armaan Malik come to hype the students.

Admission

The students who have passed the 12th Board exam with 60% are eligible for the course in this college. The application form can be found on the official website of the college and the application feed and the application dates are also found on the college's official website (www.thebges.edu.in). The area of improvement in the admission process required is the login process.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is great and as compared to the students, the faculty is lesser. So, the faculty-to-student ratio includes higher number of students. The faculty's approach to teaching is good enough, the teachers have good teaching skills and their approach to mentorship is also amazing. The students interact with the teachers and the mentors when they want any advice or want to clear any doubts. The teachers and mentors are very understanding and helpful.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

shaping future : a review of my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
