Likes
- The college provides good opportunities for those who really wanna upscale themselves and also I've found the the college's English lab is quite developed and they've got a really good team of teachers working together and emphasizing teamwork
- The college canteen was quite decent but for the price they've provided it's pretty good as per their price it's really worth the money you pay apart from that the chips and drinks are sold for an extra 5 rupees rather than the Mrp
- Labs were pretty good and maintained and the college CSE department staff and the placement cell really seemed professional and they were really helping us to upskill our career and have a good and promising future ahead
Dislikes
- The only thing I disliked is our college canteen's prices when it comes to things which are packaged sich as chips and drinks etc which are sold with an extra 5 rupees rather than the Mrp price as they should apart from the the canteen is pretty good
- The one thing I really wanted to speak about is the washrooms for the boys because the washrooms in the mechanical block were not that good and maintained especially the western style ones look really gross I hope they really improve this
- The other the I've disliked about our college is the classrooms because during the summer season the classrooms become too hot that it's too hard to concentrate on the studies without getting deviated from these heat waves
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is pretty structured and detailed and I can see the professors efforts in designing the curriculum cause they've prepared it in such a way that we students won't be stressed much and have a joyous college life
Internships Opportunities
My college offers vast types of internships and we always think of opting for internships which are usually not paid by us and recently we've done internships unsed AICTE,at first we've done blueprism internship and now at present we're doing cybersecurity internship provided by Palo Alto,and recently I've done an internship on data analytics during HackTraid which literally helped me to learn about PoweBI and Tableau to design a premium looking dashboard, only cons is that you don't get paid during the internship
Placement Experience
The main reason why I've joined this college is due to its placement ratio and this college alone got brilliant amount of placements in year 2023 so that really sparked my interest in joining this college and I've also checked the graph of this college's placements and the graph gradually went up with the time so I'm pretty confident with my college placements
Fees and Financial Aid
So the fees is around 51k per annum excluding other things and the fees is pretty reasonable and there are few scholarships if you're from the home state and it's called as JVD where the state government will provide you complete scholarship for your whole college term and there are scholarships for people who're from Jammu where our pm will be assigning funds to college so you need not to pay any single rupees and also the pm will be assigning funds to your hostel too so basically for the people who're from Jammu you can consider that your education will be provided for you at free of cost
Campus Life
The overall experience in my college is pretty cool as far as I'm concerned the infrastructure is pretty decent and the fests kind of happen twice a year of some sort and I've recently been to 3-4 fests in which one of em is kind of a tech fest,at first it was our freshers party and then there the Pongal celebration's and after that there was a tech fest kind of thingy which is a paid one named as HackTraid and the other was the annual fest which I've experienced during our college's annual day,so far I've experienced 4 fests during my first year.
Admission
So in order to join my college I've written an examination called as EAPCET which a entrance examination for the college throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh and I've got around 20k rank and getting a seat in my college was really easy task for me cause the closing rank was around 22k for open category and the admission progress was pretty smooth and didn't had any inconvenience while getting the admission
Faculty
So each class has around 66 students and there's one faculty who'll be taking class every hour and the faculty are really professional and there are few faculties who've even worked in the industry so they know what they're doing and apart from the teaching they do interact with us once in a while and share their insights and thoughts and have a group discussion kinda thingy
