Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I am pursuing is a very comprehensive course that provides you entrance into the financial and corporate world. Though the course doesn't provide you with the complete knowledge that you need to have in order to have larger annual income. Also the teaching techniques are more of theoretical and not practical which is a drawback because the field of commerce requires practical knowledge and experience along with theoretical knowledge. The course is good enough if one wants to have income upto 40000-50000 per month, that too if your marksheet has 70% and more. The frequency of exams is though good, constant exams allows the student to have less burden and give test and exams without any pressure.
Placement Experience
The college does provides with the campus placements and students are eligible for them from 3rd year. The average salary package is 300000 per annum and the highest goes upto 1500000 per annum. A large number of students have been given campus placements since the college from the very beginning focuses on the future the student. Although I don't have any such idea of getting the campus placements after my degree because I am already Chartered Accountancy course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees that I pay is 26000 for an year. Campus placements are also good if the student has scored good in their marksheet as mentioned earlier. Scholarship programmes allows the student to have minimal fees and on top of that campus placements make it a big plus.
Campus Life
Now comes the most interesting part of the college which is the social life, fests and other activities. The college do organises events but most of them focuses on your other skills like debate, article writing, skits, sports and dance. For your knowledge the college has no farewells and no freshers which is the negative point. Social life is good only if you have good group of friends otherwise you'll feel like a torture in the college because it has no other such entertainment thing. Also one thing is that if a student is really very studious and wants to focus only on the learning and examination then this college is the best since no distractions are there. Infrastructure is average, not a very big college but provides amazing canteen with good food at very minimal amount.
Admission
You are eligible for the course if you have passed your senior secondary examinations and you have to give an entrance exam. The entrance exam doesn't focuses on anything different but gives you basic aptitude and some general knowledge questions along with the questions relating to your specified fields. The frequency and examination timings are really accessible. One can easily go on the college website and fill the application form along the requisite fee and then all the details regarding the entrance exam will be sent on your email I'd. The application dates usually starts from February or 2nd week of March. The reservation benefits are available for the required students. The entire procedure for the entrance exam is very easy and accessible.
Faculty
The faculty is well known in their respective fields and have great knowledge. Students interaction with the faculty is not so good but if you reach them they do answer your questions. You can anytime interact with the faculty and have all your doubts solved. The faculty not only focuses on the course but also helps students in shaping their future and making right career decision.
