The CSE course curriculum includes object oriented programming, discrete mathematics, statistics, computer systems, DBMS, Data Structures and Networking, operating system etc. The overall curriculum prepares us for industry requirement and ensuring that students have the skills and knowledge demanded by the employers. Project Work, internships and industry training in the later semester provides the students hand on experience and allow them to apply theoretical knowledge into real world problems.

Students have to work in hybrid internship during college hours so that there is no academic loss. PSIT may facilitate interships through campus placement drives, industry connections and career counseling services. Projects would be given in the final year which would help the students to apply their theoretical knowledge into real life based problem of their project.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Many reputed companies companies such as Infosys, TCS, Morgan Stanley, Palo Alto, Capgemini, Wipro, Cognizant visit the institute for campus recruitment. Around 2400 job offers were made this year, the average package was 6 LPA while the highest was 50 LPA from Palo Alto. My plan after getting BTech degree is to pursue higher studies in Masters.

Fee structure of PSIT(per year) as of 2023: Tuition fees- 1.8 lakh Hostel fees- 96000/- Bus conveyance fee: 36000/- Additional fees of 7000/- for semester exams per semester U.P Students can avail U.P Government scholarship per year for financial aid. The institute also has an attendance reward policy for students with >97% attendance and the institute also rewards students with achievements.

PSIT conducts an annual fest known as Ignitia. It is a techno-cultural fest of 2 days. There is a big Library accessible to the students with vast collection of books of every field be it bassic science and humanities or electronics, electrical, mechanical etc. The lecture halls are have centralised AC. There are classes known as 'Bring Your Own Devices' class which has a charging port and LAN port at each desk. There are well equipped Computer Labs, electronic labs, electric lab, physics lab, workshop, graphics lab. There are various amenities such as cafeterias, auditorium, green spaces to conduct learning environment.

To be eligible, Students must have done 10+2 from a recognised board attaining atleast more than 60% in physics, chemistry and maths. Admission can be done through Jee mains rank+ aktu councelling or management quota. Through management, students have to appear for an interview and answer the questions. Students must have programming background if their preffered course is CSE. Through uptac councelling, the cutoff varies from branch to branch anywhere between 2.4 lakh to 5 lakh. Students with reservation have benefit through councelling.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:65, the faculties are qualified and well experienced in their field and are very enthusiastic about teaching the subjects. If students are facing a doubt they can approach to the faculty any time in-person or on text. The teaching material they provide is sufficient and they also use real life based examples to teach the topic so that the students could relate more to the subject.
