- They provide workshop mode classes and training for one subject in each semester which help us to learn things and work on it on hand
- There are 2 Coursera courses per semester which help us to build our extra skills
- Niet conduct many seminars in which renowned speakers come to encourage students and teachers at niet are well interactive
Dislikes
- Infrastructure can be improved a bit like classes could contain ac
- There is some type of burden related to assignments on Students
- Fest are not conducted like any other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
Niet is an autonomous institution so it works on its own curriculum but it is well divided and made easy for students to score good marks. There are 3 sessionals conducted in the gap of 1 months which contain exam of 1-2 ch which also helps students preparation for final exam.
Internships Opportunities
We have to complete one internship after each year on which we get marks . There are also many companies which provide intership to students in niet such as corizo. There is also a mini Project conducted by each student in each year
Placement Experience
Students from third year are eligible for placement. They provide placement training before hand . The highest package goes upto 50 lakhs and avg upto 4 lakhs. Niet provide placement to 80% of there students
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of btech student is around 5 lakhs they also provide various scholarships like up government scholarship and also benefits to other students . They do conduct internship and also company's do visit niet
Campus Life
I experience with niet was far better. They conduct cultural fest and jagmag event which are run by different clubs working in college and students participate in clubs actively. They have sports event in every year
Hostel Facilities
Nice contains boys and girls hostel seperate which provide decent facilities such as there are non AC rooms, AC rooms and also cooler rooms . Mess food is good they give healthy dite to students and a proper mess community is setup
Admission
I got direct admission in btech biotechnology for which you should have 12 class percentage above 80 percent. In rest branches like cse etc cutoff for direct admission goes upto 90 percentage. Admission process starts in May
Faculty
Teachers at niet are well interactive they are always ready to help students and are very friendly with them. I too have a teacher in my department he helps alot to students not only in studies but also in any problem the students have. They provide materials for studies which would help them learn better
