Course schedule's are a bit hectic which involves 6-7 hours of classes daily and a quite hectic continuous evaluation system which occurs thrice per semester which has now changed to twice per semester . Attendance criteria should be relaxed a bit.

Internship opportunities are available for students in 3rd and 4th year of Btech students . Two types of internships are offered , one is of two months summer internship and other is of six month winter internship.

Placement stats of the college were quite good until the recession . This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.

On an average , fees for General and OBC candiadates are Rs 100000 per semester which is Rs 200000 per year . There are scholarships available for academic excellence and for government schemes for certain states.

Campus life of IIITA is descent with a 100 acre campus having necessary resources available for students . Social life is also satisfactory with many clubs available for different kind of extra curricular activities.

Hostel facility of IIITA is descent as compared to other givernment colleges with options of single and double occupancy rooms available for students . Mess food quality is descent but not up to the mark.

Application process was quite hassle free through Josaa counselling process and it happened within a month . For General candidates you require a Jee Mains rank of under 4000 for IT branch and under 8000 rank for ECE branch.

In terms of faculty members, there's certainly a mix of experience and expertise , there's room for improvement in certain areas. Some instructors have good knowledge and teaching skills. However, there are also instances where faculty members could enhance their engagement with students , fostering more interactive environment.
