Remarks

Overall a good college which gives opportunities to students to concentrate on both studies and extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Since I am from the 2016 batch so at that time crit was vtu affiliated so the course curriculum is according to vtu. But apart from that crit conducts many workshops which are very helpful as it gives us an insight into the various fields. About the exam structure, to be frank, it is not so flexible, the same questions are repeated. But we do have interesting electives like AI and data mining in 5th and 6th sem so the course curriculum prepares us well to face the corporate world as we will be familiar with most of the concepts that are necessary.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are decent. I haven't gone through the process of placements still so I don't know in detail but of what I have heard the placements all together is fine. Companies like sap labs, delloite, TCS etc visit the campus. The salary package is also decent even though not so high. The average salary is around 3 to 4 lakh per annum and the maximum around 18 lakh.

College Events

3.5

There are various events celebrated in cmrit the most famous among them being culture. It is the college fest of cmrit. Then there are various technical events celebrated in cmrit organized by various departments. When it comes to events in cmrit it is very diverse.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The initial fees I paid for the first year was 75,000 in which 25,000 was college fees. Then in the second year, the fees reduced by 2k and then again in the third year by another 2k. I do not stay in a hostel so I don't know about the hostel fees but I have heard that it's is above 1 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any scholarship so sorry I am helpless here. But few of my classmates have availed for the scholarship. So I have heard they provide financial aid for students who need it and also there is a scholarship for defense quota. But I don't know the process.

Campus Life

3.5

There is an equal gender ratio. There are various workshops conducted giving students an insight into the various techniques used in industry such as python, machine learning, R language, not etc. Also encourages students to participate in various extracurricular activities such as dance, singing, debate etc though college fest conducted every year in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year there is an alumni meet which provides students the opportunity to understand the industry in the current world and the skills that they need have in order to meet the industrial expectations.

Admission

I got admission in cmrit through cet, my rank was 3634 so I got a seat in the first round itself. The admission process was peaceful we had to bring documents like marks card and all and also dd to pay the college fee. Altogether it was not hectic and was well organized.

Faculty

4

The faculties are nice and friendly. They are very hardworking so if you're attentive then you can gain a lot of knowledge from them. They are willing to clarify our doubts and also encourages to do extra curricular activities. They are well versed in what they teach (there are few exceptions though but again they also try there best to overcome it). So I would like to say that if your an enthusiastic individual who pays attention in class then you can make the most out of the cmrit faculties.
