The department of geography and faculty of Jadavpur University is very popular through India and there are many scope for future in this subject. So I choose this stream. There are several field surveys which can help us to experience the real or nature study . This is very important for every student to attend the field survey. The faculty is so few in our department. We need more faculty members to improve our learning The exams are taken after 4 months of previous exam and the difficulty level is increased in every semester

Microsoft, Google, Texas, pw,Amazon, Bajaj auto, wipro and many other companies offer internships. There are many projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks. The salary of the interns is between one lakh to two lakhs.

From 5th semester students becomes eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Texas, Pw, Indian oil,HDFC and many more. Texas gives the highest package of 50 lakhs and average 20 lakhs . 99% students getting placements throughout the year. After complete the degree I will take internship under gis

The tuition fee is very less in this course (only 900 rupees) which is affordable for every student..The complete cost of our education is 3000, where tuition fees are 900, service fees are 100, admission fees 500, lab fees - 800 , library deposit- 100, and other charges - 600. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, National Scholarship, K3 are available. Instead of this our university has provided an alluminy scholarship( 20000 per year)

The annual and technical fest at our university is sanskriti. There are 3 faculties like science, arts and engineering and each faculty organises sanskriti individually. The main time of sanskriti is March to April There are more than 10000 books and 1000 journals available in the central library and departmental Library. There are many clubs for extracurricular activities like dance club, drama club, photography club , mountain climbing club and many more

In the hostel rooms there are two beds, two chair and tables , one almirah,two book shelfs , two hanging rods ,two fans , two lights in each room. The meal quality is well. Fish and a common veg are served in every day time instead of Wednesday and Sunday. On Wednesday there is only a vegetable and on Sunday panner, chicken are served. Egg and vegetables are served every night instead of Wednesday and Sunday. On Wednesday chicken and paneer are served and on Sunday one vegetable is served There is a form for admission in hostel. After fiil the form there is ab interview is taken by hostel superintendent.

Bsc in geography at Jadavpur University is a four year course offered at the ug level. To get admitted bsc in geography at Jadavpur University applicants must have scored 75.00% in 10+2 level and also applicants must have physics, chemistry, economics, computer science, geography any two subjects above this and mathematics in 10+2 level.
