Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is well relevant and comprehensive. It covers wide range of topics peritinant to the field, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of the subject matter. The material is up to date reflecting current industry trends and advancements.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are excellent in CSE and engineering departments . BCA and MCA also gets good positional role and package other than that science background students placements are conducted by medical companies i.e non IT companies. Other positions role that were offered are of sales and marketing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not too much or not less. The students can apply directly or indirectly through KCET. Reva also release its own exam for engineering and other courses. Scholarships are provided for all students in academic and sports excellence.

Campus Life

4.5

Every year Reva organize Revostava which is the official fest of Reva. The technical fest is organised by whole engineering department, the club that organises the fest is called FORCE. In our department students would usually choose literature club or poetry club.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good as well as strict. Each hostels have thier warden and assistant. Timings are allotted for in and out timing. Meal quality is good but North Indians have to adjust for few days to get used to .

Admission

The course I choose was Bachelor of Arts in which I didn't had to give exams for this course. Application form and fees has to be submitted on Reva admission block where staff will explain you the whole process.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is good and has knowledge in their own subject. All professors are trained and has years of experience. They have also won medals outside the campus for their contribution in thier field. The mentorship facility is also available for each student. The mentor is especially helpful for your mental well being. From last 3 years my mentor was very supportive and friendly who used to talk to me just like we're friends.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
