- Some professeor are very nice. They are very helpfull as well as polite in nature.
- 75% Attendance in 1 and 2 mandatory for most of the branches but after 1 year some branches are very strict regaridng attendance.
- I like the surrounding of our college . Our college is surrounded by so much green tress and pollution free campus
Dislikes
- Lack of sports facilites. Does not have good infrastructure for sports realted activites.
- Lack of participation in extra curiculm activites like debate comepeteion hackathons etc.
- Here teachers used to taught us in gujrati language only as i am non gujrati i find dificuly to understand topics and. Subjects
Course Curriculum Overview
Personally in my initial days i don't have much idea what to choose and what not. After some research i found that semiconductor industry in india is rising. So i decided to pursue this course because it has wide opportunity in upcoming years. The curriculm help us to handle the intense pressure and time management.which is also helpful in our further life. We can improve our curriculum by adding some practical problem solving etc. I think frequency of exam is good here.
Placement Experience
Placements are good here. With less fees my college provide average salary of 3.5 lakh and highest went to 13 lakh . Many companies come for campus placement like adani L&T Reliance and the data for 2023 for IC branch is sgood almost 72.4% students are already placed from the 2024 passout batch. In 2022 out of 700 students 534 students are placed. After getting the degree my plan is to.pursue MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
So if you want to do btech with less money then vgec is the best. The fees are almost 1600 per semester. And the overall fees including exams fees hostel fees you will be charged around 5000 per semster. If you belong to st sc categroy then ample amount of scholarship are there for example myky scholarship digital gujrat scholarship , ffe scholarship.
Campus Life
No fest etc are held in our college the campus life is so boring no extra activites are held here. Library is just average other than that it has no use. Sports teams for girls in our college is not.there. lack of facilites for sports. There are some groups like ieee, nss ncc are there in our college which is quite good . But other than that campus life is so boring.
Admission
For taking admission in gujrat college one must have domicile of gujrat or he/she passed clas 12 from.gujarat. and appear for gujcet as well as one can also get admission through jee mains score. Some of the. Seats are reserved for out of state and foregin people quota too . In Couselling process sc st are given prioprites followed by obc and ews category. Defence quots is also there in some colleges like nirma.
Faculty
The faculty here are well qulified znd educated but they lack teaching skills though they have ample amount of knowledge but they cannot interact well with students. The faculty are very helpfull in my college. Some of the faculty members are average.
