- No pressure on the students regarding any file work or practicals. No overdozen work is given.
- Supportive staff is there for placement perspective . Fees is also not much higher as compared to other private colleges.
Dislikes
- One of the things i dislike in our college is there is no playground.
- No on campus internship opportunities are there. Though faculties shares the opportunities with the students through whatsapp and gmail.
Course Curriculum Overview
My decision for choosing btech as my career was because of the high paying jobs just after the 4 year course. Though some of the subjects taught in our course is not much related to tech industry or are much outdated . With the growing industry and new technologies , students have to work on their skills after the college to get a good job.
Internships Opportunities
On campus internships are not provided by our college but faculties of our college keep sharing opportunites of internhips with stipends with the students through email and whatsapp groups. Many traning courses with internships are provided by college.
Placement Experience
Placements in general are good around 6 lpa for Computer science and IT branch. But in recent times due to recession not much companies are there for hiring . Last year oncampus highest package offeres was 36 lpa by a company. Most of the students in our college go for higher studies or abroad . Percentage of students getting placed is not impressive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is around 97000 which is affordable and less as compared to other private colleges. Scholarship schemes provided by govt is accepted in our college for rashan card holding or low income families. Campus employment eas good before the covid time . But nowadays due to recession not much companies are there for hiring .
Campus Life
Many college societies are there which students can join and enhance their skills including tech skills ,communication skills , presenting skills , dancing skills. Two libraries are there in our college . One is a book bank and other one a new library . You can issue books from both and plenty of books are there related to the syllabus or enhancing your tech skills.
Admission
Admission process was giving jee exam and selecting college and course you would like as per your rank . Sikh Minority quota is there which enables sikh students to get admission over others. Though SC ,ST , OBC reservations are also there. Proper counselling is done after the jee exam for admission in colleges.
Faculty
Teachers and faculties are well educated . Most of the faculties in our college are holding pHD degree . Teaching way is also very calmand composed . Apart from the classes you can approach any teacher in their cabin and have a good talk.
