LISAA has developed a unique and multidisciplinary training programme for design and this large professional sector, The designer understands the mass production process from the workshop to the factory. There is two courses Interior & Product Design which is a three-year degree course and interior design one-year diploma course.

The Internships are only for the second year students and the LISAA Institute seems to have tie-ups with well-established companies.LISAA has set up several recruiting partners for its students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The B.Sc course fee for a course in LISAA institute is a little over 3 lakhs approx. for the first year. School fee once paid is non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances.

Admission

LISAA School of Design conducts online examsThe student while sitting at home can take the LISAA CAT entrance exam. First, I have to fill the form given on site then submit the form and register for All India LISAA CAT. Admissions team will send entrance test after that personal interview through Skype, Students who are able to appear for the entrance test at the LISAA Center are requested to connect with the admissions team.

Faculty

The daily routine in LISAA college is very flexible and comfortable. The classes are scheduled between 9-5:30. Each class has 3 hours. The assignments are interesting and informative and the method of teaching is lenient but very helpful. Manika Sahi and Nisha Claudine madam both are superb teachers and our favorite teacher. The faculty is wonderful. Management isn't very efficient, though.

Course curriculum here feels more practical and idea driven rather than just theory based which was one of the main reasons I chose this course it focuses on design thinking creativity and real execution instead of only textbook learning One of the strongest parts is how it slowly builds your understanding from basics to advanced concepts through projects assignments and presentations this helps in preparing for real world work because you are constantly creating and improving your portfolio rather than just studying for exams The curriculum does prepare you for industry to a good extent especially in terms of creative thinking software usage and project handling but it can improve by including more updated trends real time industry briefs and collaboration with professionals which will make it even more relevant Teaching methods are mostly interactive and practical but sometimes they can include more workshops guest sessions and exposure to current market tools to enhance learning experience Exams are conducted with two internal assessments of around 40 marks each followed by a final semester exam of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical the difficulty level is moderate if you attend classes and complete your work regularly it is manageable Overall the curriculum is strong in building creative foundation and practical skills but with a few updates and more industry exposure it can become even more effective for future careers

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Ab overview of life at NIFT Bangalore

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.
