Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum doesn't seem to be very vast or concise it is just as required, but in some departments like EECE they get pretty burdened with the course curriculum. They follow a common teaching method PPT, projects, labs, industrial visit etc. Not really hard to catch up with the pace for any average student.
Placement Experience
They provide recruitment training for that you need to pay 14000 and they will train you for recruitment and it is 70% assured that you can get placed might not be a really good one but yeah you will get a job. 80% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for a private engineering college it is really decent 300000 per year for computer engg. And 222000 per year for core engineering. This is really low when compared to other colleges. Upom securing different rank we can get from 25% to 100% scholarships and it can be carried from one year to another by maintaining 8cgpa. Placement has be pretty decent for CSE and Core.
Campus Life
Campus life seem to be decent bullying is not reallt a thing over here clubs are also pretty active and conduct several events. Sports are available like football ( turf and hard ground), basketball, valloey ball, cricket etc. indoor games (kabbadi, badminton, table tennis, foosball etc.)
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are different for boys and girls, rooms are AC and non AC, with 2, 3 or 4 sharing rooms. Food quality is really good and reasonable it is buffet. Quad share non ac room is for 146000 per year it increases as sharing gets less and room become AC fitted. They also have high speed wifi (300mbps)
Admission
There is nothing like eligibility it is on a first come first serve basis. Initially, we need to appear for GAT and then accordingly they will give you the rank which can also get you a scholarship, regilar exams are divided into 2 parts mid 1 and 2 that are for internal gradings which is 70 and external is 30 marks. Admission to GITAM is easy.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified from good institutes like IITs and NITs. They teach everything in layman language except a few of them who just follow their scripts. Interaction has never been an issue for any of us with the faculties.
