Course Curriculum Overview

At present computer science is at peak so i decided to choose CSE as i love on working computers.Curriculum is according to Rajasthan Technical University , which updated syllabus from time to time. Exams are semester wise generally held in the month of January and july. Exams are average level tough. Practical technology must be imparted on te syllabus

Internships Opportunities

Companies visit and gives small coding projects . As iam not aware of scenario as iam in 1st year but i have heard from senior that the projects provided are according to the market demans. and pay also given

Placement Experience

The placement at shankara college is neither good nor bad it is average.But they are continuously improving themselves and it will very good soon. Many students gets placed from 23-24 cse . Almost 95 percentage got placed. Highest package was 7.42 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 77000/ year caution money-7000 (refundable) . Fees are increased or decreased according to RTU KOTA Norms. Complete cost of education is around 3 lakh excluding hostel. Scholarship are available for the meritious stduents. You can visit the website of college for more details.

Campus Life

National level fest is held everywhere which is popularly know as SITE. Global hackhathon also held every year.Both held in the month of FEB-MARCH. Various journal and books are available in the library department wise.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room are good in size and the facilities are also good. Fan bed study table almirah light etc are found in room . Triple filtered RO is there. Well managed menu, Gyser in the winter season. 60000/ per year is the fees for hostel students which is quite affordable. Registartion for hostel can be done both online or offline. Eligibility of the course is PCM with 50 percentage in 12th . Application for can be available both online and offline. Applicatioates starts from the month of May and ends according to AICTE and rtu. You can contact Dipak Mishra sir there who is looking for admission in college very helpful . Faculty

Faculty are great at their knowledge . our department teacher are smart caring etc. faculty to student ratio is 1:15. They explained with the help of projectors in smart classes. Faculty are available to you and are helpful whenever any urgency you can easily discuss with them

Interview Experience

There was test organized in the campus which constitute of 50 marks nd i have scored 34. There are 3 modes for admission 1.Through jee score 2. REAP 3. INstitutional Exam. Interview process was als quite good taken by dipak mishra sir in the campus

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
