The course is somewhat relevant but some topics in the curriculum is very backdated and the Calcutta University needs to update it's syllabus. Regular exams are held to check the preperation of the students

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for the course is 1.5 laks and roughly 25 thousand a semester there are scholarship opportunities which are available and and there is scope for financial assistance from the government aswell

Campus Life

There are alot of co-curricular activities and opportunities present for students. There are clubs for debates dancing music etc. Bhawanipur college hosts the city's one of the best fests and provides alot of opportunities to students to take part

There was no such entrance exam that was held during the time of admission I'm not really sure of the cutoff but it wasn't very high the admission process was very smooth however I faced certain problems as I didn't check the email

The faculty members are very well qualified and come from prestigious universities across India and most of them hold a PhD in the subject they teach they are very easy to connect with and take out time to solve queries

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
