My honest Review!

The curriculum is pretty awesome. The way they manage to complete the syllabus of the course on time is an impressive thing. The laboratories helps students to improve their technical knowledge, which helps to prepare for the real world applications. The curriculum includes these real time application labs like app development and node js etc.. They teach us how to develop web pages and stuff. And according to the syllabus completion timings, they conduct examinations at proper timings. Though the curriculum is all good, it still needs to allow students to access the materials from the library. With which students can gain additional knowledge about the course.

There are many internship offers available in our campus. Many top companies visits our campus to provide job offers and internships. They offer convincingly packages or stipends for the students that are placed. Students are guided by the faculty in completing the projects. Faculty encourages and guides students with the projects and their outcomes by clarifying any type of issues or doubts.

Actually, students from 6th semester become eligible for the campus placements. CMR institute of technology is one of the colleges that provides highest placement opportunities. Many of the top companies like Wipro, Accenture etc., visits our college to provide offers. There are almost 75 to 80 percent of the students that are being placed every year in our campus. The average package is around five to seven lakhs per annum. And the highest package so far is around twenty three lakhs per annum. I also want to get placed in one of the top companies once I finish my graduation. I would like to work for a top company and gain my skills furthermore.

The fee charged by the college is actually high. Though I am not aware of the frequency of hikes, there was that kind of hike in the college fee during my admission. They costed us extra charges of about twenty thousand in the name of library fee. And I am in my fourth semester right now, and have still not received any scholarship even after applying for one. Students that uses college transport has to pay extra charges for every academic year. Same goes with the college hostellers. Apart from the reimbursement, there is no other financial help that is given by the college. They also collect charges for every semester exams, that too after charging us another twenty thousand in the name of exam fee for the affiliated university.

Our campus encourages students who are interested in extracurricular activities. The management allows students to run social groups, clubs, and many more. Students are allowed to put their ideas out. They are allowed to pursue their interests. Our campus has dance clubs, NSS unit to provide social services. Students that are interested in sports are always encouraged to participate in competitions or tournaments. But the culture events held in the campus academically are only around two or three. Only fresher's day, traditional day, and annual day are celebrated every year. Very less cultural events are celebrated in the campus.

Admission process was not bad. It was pretty easy to understand the admission process. We were provided with a kind of clear instructions by the college management. Since I am from a backward caste, I was availed with the fee reimbursement for my score in the entrance exam. The management actually made it convenient for the students in the admission process. And the exams they conduct during the course are quite difficult to get through. But are actually conducted at the proper timings.

Faculty in CMR institute are highly qualified. Except for the lab assistants all the faculty members are experienced enough to be able to teach their respective subject clearly. The interaction between faculty and students is actually pretty good. Students are allowed to clarify their doubts anytime. Faculty stay pretty friendly with the students. They allow a convenient rapo, so that the students feel comfortable to clarify the doubts. But the lab assistants are not that qualified or experienced to be in that position. Lab assistants are actually a negative thing for the students because of which students cannot get enough coding knowledge. Students will not clarified with the doubts when they go to those lab assistants as they are not that talented to explain code.
