No attendance so you can opt for professional courses side by side and continue without the hassle of going to college and wasting your time there.

Dislikes

No college life because no one attends college and csmpus is very small this making it a very crowded place

Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom is a course that is average. IT the learning in this course is very basic and doesn't not give a good package after completing graduation. The semester exams are held twice a year and the difficulty level is 3 out of 10 but the correction of the answer sheet are not good

Internships Opportunities

I don't have an idea about internship opportunities in the college since i haven't applied for it. I also have no idea about the companies which offer internship roles here because i haven't applied for it.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 3rd semester (2nd year) for campus placements and companies like tata, wipro, pwc hire from here and average package is around 4lpa . Percentage of stdent getting placed is very less.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no increase in fees for my course. Total 3 year fees would be around 1.8lakh which is affordable if you compare with other colleges. There are no hidden charges and this cost includes admission charges, session fees etc all kind of costs

Campus Life

Umang is organised once every year which is the biggest college fest in Kolkata. Library has books which are only relevant for the courses offered by the college. Sports offered are basket ball, badminton, chess, take tennis, snooker, darts etc

Admission

Just fill the form on the website and you'll get an admission. There is no cutoff or entrance exam. If you are a gujrati student then you'll get reservation benefits and deduction in fees. Also if you score 90%+ you get a scholarship in which your fees is reduced

Faculty

Faculty student ratio is decent and all teachers are helpful and if you approach them they'll help in best possible manner. All teacher are well qualified professionals, some are running their own business too so students also get internship opportunity in those businesses.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
