Good college and provides good opportunities

Current situation and demands of CS engineer made me to select this branch in NIT Raipur. The curriculum consists of the all subject that are needed to learn for a CS engineer . Current course curriculum and teaching method is good and also it does not make too much pressure on the students and the courses are related to the industry demand like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning , Deep Learning etc. Exams are taken two time in a semester , first is Mid semester exam in which half syllabus is given and Max marks are 30 for theory and End Semester exam for full syllabus and Max Marks are 50 for this . Overall Max marks are 80 and 20 marks are for Teacher Assesment.Exams are not that much hard , one can easily pass if he or she study well in whole semester.

Some Companies arrives for the internship to college and maximum student needs to apply offcampus for the internship. Company like DeShaw ,DBOI, Optum provide the internship opportunites and the stipend is around 50 k to 1lakh as per the rules of the company

Students are eligible for the placemets after the completion of 6th semester. Many company visits in campus to provide placements , one can check the details of the placements and companies on the official website of NIT Raipur. Average package of NIT Raipur is 7LPA where in CSE it is about 15LPA. About 85-90% students get placement during placement drive. My plain is to get the job in a company that arrives in college

For General category student the annual fees is 134000 rupess(Tution fees 125000). half of it needed to pay for one semester and then in next semester. Full tution fees remission is given to the SC , ST students and the student below the annual income of 1 lakh per in all categories, for student whose family income is less the 5 lakh and greater then 1 lakh are given 2/3rd remission in tution fees. Different scholarship are also provided by the different organisation and many student of my batch are getting scholarship by registering in NSP.

Overall Experience of campus is good . there are many events are help by the clubs of college . Eclectika is cultural festival of NIT raipur and this event goes for about 3 to 4 days. Many other events are held by the clubs according to their work like Vigyaan , Shruti etc. In library all the book that are needed are provided and one can also give their used books to library. Library cards are provided and one can issue 3 book at a time for one month with this card. Classes are well furnitured and modern equipment like projectors and speakers for better teaching and learning. Shourya is club that held a event for the games in NIT and this includes all the games like Cricket , badminton, kabaddi, football , handball etc. there are all facilities for these games.

Admission are taken through the JEE MAIN exam. after the completion of JEE Advanced , JOSAA declares the timing and schedule of counselling. One who appeared in JEE Main and intrested to take admission in NIT , need to register for the counselling. All the informaton about the cutoff , process and schedule can be get on the official website of JOSAA. college is alloted according the rank of candidate and the category . Reservation is provided to the OBC,EWS, SC ,ST and PWD candidates. JEE Main exam is held two times in a year by the National Testing Agency , it is computer based exam and the syllabus of exam is 11th and 12th class Physics, chemistry and Maths.

Faculty have very good knowledge of their respective subjects and all have done Phd in their repsective subject. Teachers mainly bring slides with then but also explain on the board with chalk if the topic is needed some more extra efforts. overall, Method of teaching is good and they put their all efforts to explain the topic. one can easily approach to the teacher directly in the class if he or she has any doubts or one can ask after the class .
