- Most of the professors are really student friendly and exceptionally good. Their way of teaching is really interesting.
- If you're facing any problem, you can contact your professors or the authority and they'll be there for you.
- The campus is not the best one but you'll end up loving it for sure.
Dislikes
- The Hostel is worst I would say, the warden and the mess committee won't help you if you're facing any kind of problem, instead they'll harras you more.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course helps us to understand the society in depth. Past incidents and their impacts makes us realise how to deal with those kind of problems. In the first four semesters we had minor subjects along with major papers. We have two internal exams per paper and these internal exams are taken like class tests. On the other hand we have two semesters per year. Once we understand the topics the questions seems really easy. All the questions are analytical.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year-1250 Second year-995 Third year-950 This is the fee structure, for the semester exams we have to pay 44rs. We do have various scholarships, financial assistance etc. There's a scholarship cell in the campus as well.
Campus Life
We have three faculties, each faculty organises an annual fest know as Sanskriti around Jan-March. The engineering faculty also organises a technical fest ever year. We have drama club, dance, forum, film society, photographic club, debate society, mountaineering club and so on. Each club organises events all over the year. All the departments have their own departmental library, other than that we have a Central library. You'll find almost all the books in the libraries. For the classroom we have projectors etc.
Hostel Facilities
In my block(WH-III), two people are accomodated in a room, each get a light, fan, study table, chair, bed and a cupboard. The meal quality is mid and menu changes normally. After the admission process is done, the authority notifies about the hostel application process through the official website. One can easily find PG in this area as well.
Admission
Keep an eye on the University website after the boards result. The online form are published there. After applying it online you need to appear for the admission test. This test is based on basics of the subject. After the test 50% from your HS marks and 50% marks from your admission test will be taken.
Faculty
Currently we don't have enough professors. So both the students and professors facing some issues because of this. Although our professors gives their best to teach us. Their way of teaching is really appreciable. They can make any topic interesting. We can contact them whenever we face any kind of problems with our studies, and they help us out immediately.
